First Mexican exported car I’ve ever seen this just makes me happy to know that there’s some of my people taking their cars to the Nurburgring disregarding how much it costs! Big shoutout to Chris for being a G.
Yeah that must have been an expensive trip, but I'm sure he had a blast!

I know a guy that took his bmw 130i from argentina to the Nurburgring, and considering how shitty our import/export logistics are here in latin america, that is extremely impressive!
@@paulkamara281 A big car like this, probably $4000 incl. port cost round-trip. You are only importing temporary so you don't have much of the import fees. It's reasonable. Flying from Mexico to an EU country and renting this car for a month would probably cost you the same. And then you can't take it on the ring.
@@sys-administrator a 1 month track insured porsche cayenne rental would've cost you 12 to 14k€ in germany. definitely worth it to fly a car there. especially an expensive one

There is no way the Audi Rsq8 is faster than the Turbo GT ( 2024 model ) . I drove the 2024 Turbo Gt and this is a supercar SUV with porsche 911 handling .

I was there for this one and was in one of the Ringfreaks 330is! Quite nice to see one of these here although I did see another 73-plated British example today. (Jet Black Metallic w/gold wheels)

Not sure about Cayenne, but Cayman in the US has OPF, but it isn't monitored. So you can remove it without upsetting the ECU. At least that's what people from the US say in the forums.

If you get mad because you're stuck behind Misha chasing a Cayman in a Cayenne, maybe the touristfahrten is the wrong place for you. This road isn't your private racetrack.
It seems Misha ego ist too big to let faster Cars overtake. It is true that the BMW die not overtake in a good and save way but Misha basically blocked him all the time when it was green again.

Not sure if it's because I'm very tired watching this at 2 AM or if it's actually a fact that the camera being mounted so high above the road really makes the video capture the speeds you carry throughout the lap. Scary fast, shame we ain't getting it here.

@@mclarenf1lm374 Do you even know the difference between SUVs and Crossover SUVs? Today "SUV" has become an umbrella term for both traditional SUV and Crossover SUV. SUVs traditionally used truck based (body on frame) chassis. Crossover SUVs as we know it today got popularized by the Toyota Rav4. Why the name "crossover" because they use unibody construction that is shared with regular passenger cars (sedans, hatchbacks etc) but with increased ride height but with "SUV" styling. The Cayenne is a unibody construction vehicle, it rides on top Volkswagen's MLB Evo C/D platform that is shared with Urus, Bentayga, Touareg, Q7, Q8, A6, A7, A8. The Cayenne uses the same platform as sedans like A6, A7 and A8. Do you understand now why it's a crossover? Real SUVs with body on frame construction are SUVs like Land Cruiser or G-wagon. These SUV's can handle off-roading the Cayenne (Urus, Bentayga, Q7, Q8) cannot. Every creditable automotive journalist calls the Cayenne a crossover SUV.
The range went from 320 km to 186 km just from a single lap. :P I must say, for as big as that SUV is, it certainly handles well. As always, great driving Misha!

After the lap he did say he was "almost sh1tting his pants" for the beginning of the lap, so it may not have been about the car... He does have a whole boatload of stickers on it, which noone would do if they were afraid of damaging the car.
