The French just sound so squishy French...definitely good reenactors...go Great Britain and Lt. Col Richard Sharpe! I miss Civil War Reenacting in America. Fun seeing a bunch of grownups playing war because they love camaraderie and history so much.
The civil war reenactment near me just got banned because of its racist. Never mind that we're in Chicago, and the battles are all about the Union winning. Sigh.
Beaux uniformes, belles images, et ambiance bien différente de ce qu'elle était à l'époque entre les hommes des différentes nations en lice durant cette campagne. 😊👍
But tapping the butt of a loaded musket on the ground like that instead of ramming is likely in reality to make the musket go off and quite possibly do its owner a serious injury.
the best part is when they charge they just stand there and talk to eachother

What do you mean the Civil War reenactment got banned because of its racist? What was racist about the reenactment?
Sadly sharpe is fictional
@@deepyamandas1192 damn i thought hes real
@@deepyamandas1192 Yes it was fun but it was utter BS especially Waterloo where in fact the Dutch saved the Brits from disaster.
On a l'impression d'y être. Bravo au photographe; clichés splendides 👏
C'est vrai que les images en fin de vidéo sont superbes.

Very good
Wish I'd been their,
Nice to see the reenactors not drawing ramrods...usually that results in safety rules requiring high elevation fire!

@@Crispvs1 I reenacted for about 20 years. Never heard nor saw of a musket going off by butt tapping on the ground. We tapped.
Is that Gemioncourt farm at about the three minute mark?
