4:10 This was probably my biggest problem with the movie, not so much with the quality of the CGI but with what the CGI creation actually was. Some of the fan service felt like pandering too ("He said the line from Alien! I remember that movie!" type stuff); that Aliens callback from Andy in the elevator shaft was mega-cringe. Still liked the movie though. It felt a lot more like an Alien film than Prometheus and Alien Covenant did.
@@CaptainCanuck1975 Yeah I get what you mean! And I agree, after letting it marinate for a bit, I did think it was a bit too pandering at times. And I did want to mention Andy’s line but wasn’t sure how to do it with no spoilers, but yeah it was too much lol. Glad you liked it as well! It definitely did; yeah I honestly expected them to completely ignore those movies, but there were some surprising tie-ins/references
