What's confusing? Poor is a one syllable word. Because of steph's accent, she pronounced it with two syllables, like poo-err.

I realize you probably are joking but there are people who watch these that are learning English so ...
Syllables have nothing to do with the way a word is written but how it is pronounced. In a lot of accents poor is pronounced poo-ER. She went even further and pronounced it Poo-Wer. Ooh and Uh are the vowel sounds there.
America of course goes 'Porrrrrrreee' As did Lee in his northern accent.

To be fair, I also do the whole "deliberately walking into oblivious twats who are texting and not looking where they're going" thing. It's a lot of fun, and I recommend it to everyone 😂

@@alanrix5344 Trying to walk down some streets in Perth is like trying to navigate a slow moving obstacle course - and you are right about the driving: the amount of times I see people just wander into the road whilst on their phones only to then look at drivers as if somehow it is the driver who has done something wrong when they have to slam the breaks on ...

Personally, I always thought Jennifer was the more talented out of her and Dawn French. I love the Vicar of Dibley and Dawn was perfect for that, but Jennifer's writing for the 90s Ab Fab was some of the best comedy.

For me, the first sentence alone was the TechDiff video about Julie D'Aubigny (or however you spell it).
