Years after hearing this for the first time, this is by far my most favourite arrangement/transcription of Turkish March by W.A. Mozart.
John Hong will forever be known as one of my favourite TH-cam organists. 🙂
Scottbrothersduo. Change my mind
@lincolnscofieldjr I like them too, though I when it comes to some arrangements (especially this one of Mozart's Turkish March), it's John Hong for me.
I can only imagine how that would sound on a symphonic residence organ with all the stops pulled out.
It would be WONDERFUL!
To be honest, I thought that this instrument had its limits on what songs you can play. Now I realize that it's just like a piano. Anything you play on a piano works well on an organ. You seem so professional, I think you'd be the best teacher for me.
I tell you, I'm 15 years old and I'm fasinated with his performances! I loved Pipe Organs so much since I was a toddler, that I started practicing and taking piano lessons when I was 6 years and I started to practice church hymnals every since I turned 14. I love this arrangement with one of my most favourite classical songs, it's just so perfect. You really inspired me John Hong (or should I say eunsunghong :-). Keep on the good work! And God Bless!
@Metal Boi 25 now. I am the Music channel affiliated with JonnySel Productions. :)
@@JonnyMusicOrganist happy to see the progress:)
@@Geveretzah1 Thanks. Though I haven't been able to practice the hymns much for various reasons, the least of which is the lack of time I make to do so. Though I am working really hard on my part so that I can free up more time for myself to practice as much as I used to before.
In the meantime however, I am making organ covers of pop culture music in order to showcase the many other capabilities of the pipe organ.

The different rows of keys, called manuals are used because those little knobs he's pulling (or stops) change the sound effects of one or more manuals. Each row of keys has a different set of sounds which change.
The pedals are the same as a keyboard layout, just larger. It's played with the feet and produces most of those really low or bass sounds you hear. The other pedals you see control the dynamics (how loud/soft), because unlike a piano, an organ doesn't change volume with your fingers
Epic, powerful, and ominous at the same time...love it!

This part gave me an eargasm!!!!!!!!!! Not joking, it's that good!!!!!!!!
thecoolman3060 Productions Couldn't have said it better myself. ;)
Same dawg
Excellent. Very enjoyable and a superb example of what can be done with the 'one foot on the swell-pedal and one foot in the grave' technique!
Very very nice, fine sir. You are a genius. I wish I lived there.
Thanks for wonderful Reply!

John Hong, the next Johann Sebastian Bach. Keep continue it. Its like Thunder turkish march. It's really amazing :D
I love the organ! Everything I have heard played on both organ and piano, I think the organ version sounds better! (Check out some of Ton Koopman's Haydn piano Concerti on Organ)
That was KOOL! How can you play it with both hands and feet? That was ammaazzingg!!!
Music to my poodle ears!
He could've done more with the pedal, didn't like his thecnic in that thing but I think Ton Koopman were proud of that, jajaja!!!! the arragement sounds very good I liked. =)
Hi , do u have the music score for this piece ?
Could you share it?
Could we buy this piece? =)
hi i have an ask what is this hand pedals ????
I think the audio is off by about 0.100 seconds.
+Jackson Abernathy That is normal when playing organ. It takes some time for the air to get from the keyboard to the reeds.
Ok. Thanks. I don't think this is a pipe organ though.
with any organ there is still a lag because of digital organs having tenth second response time
Boom blast the delay isn't in the other videos though
ok thanks for telling me! :-)
Did you study at the conservatory?
sounds so much better on the organ than on piano!
와. .전문가다
Where'd u get that organ?????
Can someone please explain to me what the difference is between the different rows of keys? And what are the weird pedals for?
ikschrijflangenamen
they all make different sounds??
Each keyboard controls a different area of pipes and can be set to make different sounds. On larger organs, the pipes can be in different rooms throughout the building, and each keyboard controls one room. The pedals are typically used for bass notes, or solos.
I like how his feet move
Help yourself to Stouffer's pizza. Does anyone remember when they used this tune as their jingle?
It is my dream to play church organ one day. I'm not Christian btw
Why wait?
There are many digital organs you can purchase for yourself brand new or used.
Some brands of digital organs you may want to look up are the following:
Allen (the same one of this organ John is playing on), Content, Johannus, Rodgers, Viscount, and many more.
Heck, I'm actually gonna produce a video comparing all of them very soon, so you might want to keep an eye out for it. ;)
Sinceramente este es el segundo instrumento que me gusta despues del piano
Same
man that is very
Lovely, even though I prefer the original arrangement
