Thanks for the Video. For those of us without a hoist and a transmission jack, taking the K-Connect on/off probably isn't a workable annual option. Snowblower Suggestion - I laid a few beads of weld on each of the underside of the original snowblower slides. It provided a little more clearance adjustment, added material to minimize the wear, and you can always lay a few more beads of weld whenever the wear dictates it. Seems to work well! Hope that helps.
That's a good idea! I might just do that right away. I think you could drop it from the ground and a floor jack but it would be a lot of crawling around on the ground. Might not be worth it!
@@SearlesStation Nah, a tach is about the only other thing I want to add to my X1100C. I have already done a remote control dome light controller install and I did a rear bulkhead connector socket and integrated controller box for a Herd Broadcast Spreader. We don't get enough snow here in the mid south to justify a snow blower!
A dealer I went to while investigating the K-Connect Snowblower told me they won't deal with them as the drive shaft system has been problematic and noisy. This was a few years ago, but now that I've seen your video I can see why the dealer just decided to not bother with them. Perhaps things have changed. I see why you take the connect system off in summer. Driving the mechanism and having mud, etc. collect in the clutch is not good.

Glad to see you back on your TH-cam channel with new content. Have you given anymore thought about doing a video installing an aftermarket tach?
Thanks! Yes, I really want to get on that!
Thanks for watching! Any other vids you'd like?

My rtv 1100 had an issue.. it was running fine then started it up it was in very high rpm and couldn’t turn off. Nearly went up n flames. Any ideas?
Not sure about the high idle but the not shutting off sounds like the stop solenoid on the injection pump.

Yeah, I think there are some issues to overcome, but overall I like that it's all one unit! Works well for me!
Thanks for the comment 👍
