Cool info i really enjoyed hearing about the history of it! Started getting into whiskeys this year and building my little collection.. and i was surprised by this one and i really liked it for some reason (plus its not that dmging on the wallet) 😊
Thanks for the suggestion! It is a fascinating subject, especially when you start thinking about bourbon barrels aging most rum too I believe. But we also have Irish and scotch aged in rum barrels, so typically that's already on its third different spirit as compared to the Glen Moray being reused multiple times for the same scotch. The life of a typical barrel is upwards of 80+ years if well constructed.
