You might want to put some blue lock tight on the bolts mine loosened up a little after a few months of driving and started to leak oil. They are nice just sucks you cant see them in the truck really.
I have a question for you. I have an 02 24v that I installed compounds on. I took the heat exchanger out but I did not delete the trans line that come into it. I just ran them in a loop with some 3/8 hose. I did plug off the coolant lines. I also put some more atf because obviously some leaked out when I deleted the exchanger. I have everything buttoned up and I went on a test drive yesterday and today. I noticed while cold the trans will shift through all 4 gears but when warmed up driving through town it won’t shift into 2nd or 3rd. Do you have any idea why this is?? Thanks
Granny try changing the governor solenoid in the valve body. You can do it without pulling the transmission and it’s relatively inexpensive. Let me know on this!
just changed the governor solenoid, changed the filter and it shifted nice into 2nd but won’t shift into 3rd. Put 4 quarts of atf +4 and haven’t checked the level while running so it might need just a little more. But don’t think that’s the issue for not shifting into 3rd??
@@marcusthompson7930 hey I found the 3/4 in pipe fitting screws right on there with a cap..... no more leaks from there. Now engine just breathes with the breather on the timing cover.....

Cool. Keating is a good friend of mine. Glad to see his parts out there.
Is it normal to see more gases coming out of the breather hoses ? Just did a head gasket installed one of these
I second it would be nice to get a list of fittings in the description or comments
Did you end up putting steel wool in that breather port?
Should do a video on how to pin the engine and ppump so they don’t move
I will try and remember to throw that in next video
Can you add a link for the sizes of the adapters or what all the sizes are or the parts to run the hose
I like that cover it looks good!
Other then looking great, what’s the purpose of fitting these tapper covers?
You get an o ring seal which is a lot less likely to ever develop a leak and can hold more cranks case pressure
Cheers mate. I love your channel by the way. It’s been very helpful
Lets see the shorty build lmao, been loving the vids !
MrTrevor50 trying man lots of side work this week
Do you have to remove the p pump in order to install the tappet cover?
How long did it take to get the cover. Just ordered last night

Also normal amount of shavings on the magnet
What size socket to remove the pump shaft nut that locks the gear
Do you have a link for all the fittings you used?
I probably wouldn’t use a 1/2 drive cordless to remove the 10mm bolts.
What size fitting or part number did you use from jegs and from vibrant??
I’m looking for the same info.
