really appreciate the videos man! from you and all the others, loving em! Been on holiday for 3 weeks, got back and now in bed ill, and been able to binge watch all the last few weeks of vlogs, really enjoying em all! It really makes feeling shitty a hell of a lot better, big ups to you all!
Ahhh gutted we won’t be seeing a finished design after we’ve all been putting our input in… I get that if it’s a liveable building, then bills, council tax,etc etc have to be paid so as a shed it won’t cost much to run 😊
Won't that make the internal footprint a lot smaller than it currently is? I'm looking forward to seeing how the structure 're-grows' over the next few weeks. 🙂
The ones who don't like it have to understand your hands are tied with building regs and laws what can be done keep up the hard work happy Christmas have good one
Has tom stepped back the project to this or was this the sole plan originally? Seems a big project to only get dry storage Vs other areas of the land that could have been improved for dry standing. Love the in-depth video really interesting
Obviously rules and regulations change and what was correct when building was originally built will be totally different to what they are now, as long as the outside looks all the same that's the main thing and as you say the inside will be covered anyway
Got to look it's age from the outside doesn't matter inside got tough regulations up there my mate bought the old farm off the farmer 30 years believe you can't just do what you like ?got to look original from the outside side that's 250 year old shippon ( bull shed ) and that's not b ll sh..
It's not a shed is a shippon .bull shed for cattle go see Robert he's got all the surplus building materials you might need .block work is termalight block tied in to brick work this had to the strong structure and thermal insulation as well I have offered you this advice because Roberts barn the same age he's got sand stone lintels etc
getting an indepth run down of whats happening is much appreciated man! Certainly makes me feel like i know what you guys are invisioning
Thank you 😃😃😃 will keep posting the up dates 👍👍👍

It will hopefully get to a habitable building we are just doing it in phases, this first phase is just toget stable and a roof on 😃😃😃
Won't that make the internal footprint a lot smaller than it currently is?

Yes it will reduce floor area, but only way to meet with building regs 😬😁
Thanks for watching. Work starts back on early jan on the gate house 😁😁
@@chrisoffroads thought it might, ta. Merry Christmas. 🙂
Chris why don't you get the scaffolding have a roof over the top keep everything dry and still be able work in rain bricking
Good suggestion that 👍 it would be nice and may happen yet 👍😃😃😃

Obviously rules and regulations change and what was correct when building was originally built will be totally different to what they are now, as long as the outside looks all the same that's the main thing and as you say the inside will be covered anyway
Yes the regs do change and hopefully we can meet with them and still maintain the look externally 😃😃😃 thanks 😁😁😁

should put a sticker on the back of the clock in the HQ Tom will never find it
Good idea 😃😃😃
shame about these building regulations but at the same time if you want the building to be habitable for humans they have to be followed
Yes, will make it a little trickier but hopefully we will get it there in the end 😃😃😃
how much hoodies
I only did three, one for Tom , one for G and then one for myself, but hopefully one day I’d be able to sell some 🤞👍👍
