I have seen some foreign person's video were he was facing same problem in his Fiat Linea. What he did he removed the LCD panel and cleaned it's LCD connector strip with the isopropyl solution. You have to be very carefully clean the strips by using ear bud cotton sticks dipping in isopropyl solution. And wow it worked. I am also facing the same issue and my Fiat Linea display is showing crooked and weired letters which are not readable. I am not a mechanic. Since you have very well explained how to remove meter cluster I am afraid of breaking something I want to try the trick shown by the foreigner.

Hello, on the left side of the panel connector, on the top there are 2 resistors + 2 capacitors + 2 resistors and below an IC (07H), you would have to send me the resistor values or take a picture for me please, it will help me a lot in my project. Best Resgards

did you tried with changing the polarising film ? maybe the issue cause of polarising film, i’m facing the same issue on my punto i’ve seen so many video about changing this film can rectify the issue

Guys no need to change the display just go to a electrical mechanic who does speedometer work he will set it and rectify issue I did the same .. this blinking issue will also rectify.. what ever you do all display will have error Monday 1 Jan and kilometres will keep on blinking
