CLAIRE: "No Felix, you can't be up here." FELIX: "Oh cool, she called my name." CLAIRE: * Tries to stop Felix with her hand * FELIX: "Oh cool, pets. I like pets."
there's really nothing better than waking up every thursday morning knowing there will be new claire content! your videos really get me through the week, thank you💕
I don't know what it is, but every time I see that animation at the end of each episode of cartoon Felix's little toes (or in this case... fingers?) wiggling and then grabbing the cherry it makes me tear up a little bit. It's just so cute!
I have a playlist where I put meal ideas or have instructions on how to prepare food in a certain way. This has immediately gone on there. Can't wait to try making it myself!
Almost at the million! Been a pleasure seeing the birth of this channel to what it is now. Things worked out alright or perhaps even better. 2 million here we come!
Long pepper in the pepper grinder with peppercorns! Great idea! I know there are specialized long pepper mills, but instead of spending the money, I usually get out the mortar and pestle. I'm trying this!
i made it today! the dough was kinda hard to make, maybe because of the hot weather, it broke and had huge cracks. nonetheless the pie turned out amazing! just like claire said, the filling sets well so the cracks don’t matter. and the filling is absolutely delicious! if you’re considering baking this, just do it - even with frustrating dough issues it’s totally worth it
I was looking through your book earlier today and I thought that I wanted to see you make this. And now a few hours later you posted a video making it😳
I once got the advice to trim the pastry AFTER the bake BCS it tends to shrink when baked so if you want a crust that's flush with the mould you're baking in you want to trim afterwards.
Those pans look very durable and light. I like cast iron and never liked the non stick stuff, they always end up in landfills. I love the kitties! Very well done video, this pie looks delicious, I love when cooks taste their creations, we see right away their apreciation of the food.
This looks delicious! My mom brought us a spinach & onion quiche over the weekend. I will have to share this with her. Thanks for talking about the features of the carbon steel cookware. I have been considering them, since I want to get away from non-stick coated pans. Your kitchen is looking fantastic!
One of my biggest fears in making pie crusts is 1) I'll roll it too thin and end up with a holey product after baking, and 2) it ends up being soggy on the bottom after you add your filling. This recipe seems like neither of those problems would be an issue! It also looks delicious. I might have to make this soon.
Thank you Claire for being wonderful! I was wondering how you are handling the change from a gas stove top to induction? Did you have to get use to "not seeing" the heat, which is easier with gas flame? Thanks again.
Ooo this looks amazing. (As do all the new kitchen tweaks!) Since I’m on my own, and there’s no way I’m eating that whole thing in one go, think I’ll do the pie without eggs baked in and then fry one up to top slices as I eat it. Yum!
Great video! I didn't say so last time, but I love the backsplash in your kitchen. Also, this pie looks SO good. The crunch from the crust made me want to eat it right now!
Can't wait to try this in July when the beet greens and Swiss chard is abundant enough in the garden here! (And yeah, if you're cooking it anyway, just get the frozen spinach... Keep the fresh stuff for salads)
as somoeone who's favourite pizza is spinach with no tomato sauce, this recipe feels like it was made for me! it's the perfect way to enjoy even more greens with an even crispier crust and eggs on top as well!! thanks for sharing this :D
When using carpet tape, you need to secure the whole length of the rug for best adhesion. Usually the easiest is to bond one short side, lay it out and then flip over the opposite edge and secure it. :-)
That looks amazing! I don't often make crusts, but I will for this! I really need to fix my food processor, or I would all the time. I love savory pies.
Do you love your potfiller? We are in the middle of a kitchen remodel and we are putting one on the coffee bar but debating on the range. Yours looks really high on the wall, do you like it there? This dish looks delicious, I love your cookbook so much!
When you blind bake with beans or rice, can you reuse them for another blind bake? Is there a limited number of times you can reuse them? If so how many times?
I watched this video roughly 10 times before I actually made it (sans eggs because I ended up not having room in my pan). I have never had creamed spinach before but this was such a hit with my family that I have to make it again only a day later.
Oh wow, you have an induction range? This is what we have on order, would love to know if you love it...we need some encouragement that our decision was a good one!
I love pie! So...the only thing I'd do differently is crimp the edges and not cut it flush with the pan rim... can't waste any opportunity to have as much crust as possible!😂 The sound of that crunchy crust...oh my my my!😋
Beautiful kitchen! Claire, if you want the cat not to go on the counter top don't kiss him as you take him down! You are rewarding him for getting on the counter!

The cats too 😂❤
Claire! The kitchen is looking so beautiful! We can't wait to make your Creamy Greens Pie this weekend! Always an absolute pleasure working with you!!

Should be nominated for the Oscar for Best Score.
Yessss the music coming in is perfectttttt
CLAIRE: "No Felix, you can't be up here."
FELIX: "Oh cool, she called my name."
CLAIRE: * Tries to stop Felix with her hand *
FELIX: "Oh cool, pets. I like pets."
If only we could know what's in cats' heads.
My cats are exactly like this lmao.
Sometimes what we say is not what others hear 🤷♀️

The hot sauce bottle and its little celebration made my morning!
Absolutely
we even got Archie's verdict this episode ("Meow!"). What a treat!
2K to 1M so close!! Congrats to everyone on the team!! Love you all (love Felix and Archie the most) ~
I have a playlist where I put meal ideas or have instructions on how to prepare food in a certain way. This has immediately gone on there. Can't wait to try making it myself!

i love the faces and hands on the little hot sauce jar at 17:15!
I bought your cookbook back when it came out. This was one of the first things I made, and now I make it at least once a month!
Creamy greens pie LOOKS SO DELICIOUS I love pie and it is perfect for brunch 💛
Totally trying this one for Meatless Monday!! Thanks Claire.
I made this for lunch today and everyone loved it! I'm not much for quiche but this was excellent, I'll definitely be making it again!
Long pepper in the pepper grinder with peppercorns! Great idea! I know there are specialized long pepper mills, but instead of spending the money, I usually get out the mortar and pestle. I'm trying this!
so cute how she's trying to reason with Felix as if he's gonna listen. 😂
so much respect to whoever has to find music that matches the tempo of claire's thwacking
Torta Pasqualina! I make this for Easter every year. Vibing
yessss i’ve been preparing the ingredients to make this one glad there’s a video accompaniment now !!

Loving the percussion score with the rolling pin. Very early 2000s “New Guy”/Blink 182 vibes.
you cannot believe how hyped i get every time "VERDICT:" comes on screen in these!!
This looks delicious! My mom brought us a spinach & onion quiche over the weekend. I will have to share this with her.

Wow. Props to the editor for finding royalty free music that matched the exact BPM of Claire’s dough-smacking!
Thursdays are my Favorite days because of you Claire and thank you so much for everything all your hard work and make the BEST VIDEOS xoxo 😚
Thank you Claire for being wonderful! I was wondering how you are handling the change from a gas stove top to induction? Did you have to get use to "not seeing" the heat, which is easier with gas flame? Thanks again.
Yes! I’d love to get Claire’s assessment of her new induction stove. The tip about starting with low heat is probably a good one.
I really enjoyed the fact you used what you had to sub in, it nice to see
I just added all the ingredients- that I don’t already have- to my grocery list for this weekend. This looks so incredible. My stomach is rumbling
This looks amazing and that cookware sounds awesome. My current cookware is a mess lol
That crunch is just too perfect.
I would love to see what cookbooks you have lined up behind you!
Great episode! Super tasty looking recipe. Great new cabin kitchen. Good pace to the video. Great editing and creative touches. And, kitty cameos ftw!
You are so special amazing inspiring remarkable unbelievable blessing angel unique and greatest baker and chef ever Claire! Xoxo 💞
i love to see some kitchen tour in the future

Love your new kitchen Claire it is so BEAUTIFUL 🧡
The synced up music gives me so much satisfaction.
I'm not big on greens (other than spinach) and I really don't like eggs but somehow watching you make this makes me want to try this recipe.....
claire playing punk rock drums on the dough with a rolling pin is bad ass 🤘😄
Can't wait to try this in July when the beet greens and Swiss chard is abundant enough in the garden here! (And yeah, if you're cooking it anyway, just get the frozen spinach... Keep the fresh stuff for salads)

Spinach pizza with a garlicky white sauce is A+

Wasn’t sure about it at first but I really want to try now!
Love your new kitchen! I made torta pasqualina last Easter stuffing it with all the greens I am growing in my garden x
Savory Era Claire is my favorite
That looks amazing! I don't often make crusts, but I will for this! I really need to fix my food processor, or I would all the time. I love savory pies.
Use Claire’s pie crust recipe! No food processor needed. It’s excellent.
@@danbev8542 yes, but I’m super lazy, haha.

Congratulations on 1 million!!!
Clairi your kitchen is looking so beautiful. I look forward to have one as yours with delicious recipes
When you blind bake with beans or rice, can you reuse them for another blind bake? Is there a limited number of times you can reuse them? If so how many times?
You can reuse them until they fall apart which will be a long time.
this looks freaking amazing
Wow, inspiring to see the new kitchen :) Awesome recipe, thanks.
Yesss hot sauce drizzle!! I have been eating SO MUCH creamed spinach lately like where have you been my whole life *muah*!
About to harvest my first Swiss chard of the season so this would be great!!
so happy for you and your team in a new kitchen!! i really wanna make this recipe for my friends :)
I watched this video roughly 10 times before I actually made it (sans eggs because I ended up not having room in my pan). I have never had creamed spinach before but this was such a hit with my family that I have to make it again only a day later.

Okay but Ms. Claire is serving in those kitten heel, Coral blue #2 clogs, go off queen
I’m excited to convert this to a keto recipe! It looks absolutely delicious!!
Can I freeze this? It looks amazing.
I cannot get over how sharp that paring knife is
I am literally crying laughing from the drum solo bit. Well played, editor. Well played.
Dried dill vs fresh dill but both delicious is definitely a topic that people should talk about more
Whoever was editing the video you had me dying when she was banging the dough to the bpm of those songs lol
Archie really said "MeowwwWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW" LOL cats are adorable
Love @madein and Claire. Awesome partnership
Could one use beet greens in the filling?
Solid eighth notes right there during the dough whacking
Love your vids Claire! Your crew is funny I like when they put in their 2 cents lol
I love pie! So...the only thing I'd do differently is crimp the edges and not cut it flush with the pan rim... can't waste any opportunity to have as much crust as possible!😂 The sound of that crunchy crust...oh my my my!😋
