Thanks for posting this! It answered a very specific question i had about trimming fittings. I really want to center my toilet but the offset flange puts it too high.
I think you did a awesome job winni you sure know what you are doing and let me tell you right now buddy I'm very proud of you you are just a super smart good guy my take care of yourself buddy God bless you and your family I love you all
Don’t forget you are going to have to move your water line to the right as well. Otherwise certain toilets like the seemless ones won’t work because the water line would be in the way. I usually rough out water lines six inches to the right of the center of my toilet flange and three inches up
I'll be doin the same thing Monday morning.. Might want to start holding that PVC a bit longer while setting.. they going to separate and pop if not cured.. I personally think 30 seconds is worth not ripping it apart again...
I need to offset the drain hole to get an extra inch or two so that the elbow won't bang on the shower panel next to the toilet. Unfortunately, my plumber said the Toto Aquia I have picked cannot accommodate an offset flange. Can anyone please explain why and advise which Toto model works with an offset flange? I don't quite like the Kohler model recommended by my plumber because it has many negative reviews about its flushing performance and I'm afraid that the offset flange will even make it worse. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Looks like more of an oval than a circle now to allow for the offset… the ring will still screw down fine and it’s under the toilet so nobody will ever see it 😉
Does it really matter what we think? The owner - the one who hired you - paid you to do it. Maybe she asked your advice if it would be worth it? I like the extra space, and it’s worth the extra $200 or so for your 2 hours.
Awesome solution but just gonna put out that the butt piece between the Junction and your 90⁰ is a bit short and needs to be home in the fitting. You'll get paper and all sorts caught on the slightest shit in the pipes
Great job buddy. Ur explanation was clear as day. U are a great teacher.

Do you have a template or measurements for the hole you cut in the sub-floor?

Do you do private residencies??

Yeah, I could most def blow out some classics in that space.
Anyone know if that flange more prone to blockage? Thnx
That's what I have heard. Offset flange makes the toilet prone to clogging 🙁
Reed makes a pipe reamer that’s way better and easier to use. Called the clean ream extreme
Awesome! This was just the one available to me. I have not attachment to it other than the $50 lol
I thought 36 was code for handicap access acceptability. 18" both ways???
Like to have more space myself, but I'm not a small guy.
