I've just had one of these fitted, 12 weeks ago. Can anyone explain the future bone growth, if any, around this device?

Literally lying in bed after having mine hours ago. Would really appreciate knowing how you've got on and what recovery was like mate!

@@jreay11 My recovery was OK, but i did try to do too much to soon. Everyone's recovery will be different. Which vertebrae did you have work on? I had L4 + L5 joined and partial discectomy. Pain was pretty low, just needed the odd ibuprofen if it flared up. It's the long game you need to look at and getting your core working again. I found palates helped after a few months at getting the core muscles doing their job again. Most back related issues seem to stem from the core disengaging and thus causing the spine to take most of the strain alone. Good luck and rest.

@@josepedraza7914 It worked for me. Had the OP over a year ago and only had 2 slight niggles since. If you have it done remember that it doesnt FIX the issue it just allows you additional support while you work at your core. Pilates is good for the core and helped me a lot, a little, often helps keep the core strong and helps support the spine.
