I got alot of this in my late 20's and early 30's, but not so much now. I am 36 and girls in their early 20's don't look at me like they used to, it is aging, it is inevitable and I guess a little sad. I seem to draw women now in their 40's and their tactics of flirtation are rather different.

36 you still young... Do you take care of yourself? Like eating healthy and working out? .... majority of us man aged like fine wine 🍷, if you take care of yourself... Doing cardio everyday will help a lot than just weights
I got it in my early 20s. Now almost 30, I get nothing. I don't think it's my age though. I think it's more the fact that I'm not as nice as I used to be. Sometimes we have to look inward to see why we're not as approachable as we once were. They could also be more intimidated by you as a more mature and put together man. (But I also don't know what you look like. 36 isn't old, but maybe you've aged terribly)
I went over to a woman's house and she was wearing a men's low cut tee shirt and no bra. She said she just wanted to be friends. I tested the water when I came out of the bathroom with a hand towel and wrapped around her neck covering her chest. She said what did you do that for I said well you said you wanted to be just friends only and I was to distracted to just talk. She pull the tee shirt down more and then removed the towel. You know the rest of the story.
You mentioned she might work her bed or bedroom in conversation my friend had his semi serious GF asked him to come her bedroom to giver her his opinion of the comforter she bought that day she was really throwing signals to him I mean why would she even care what he thought.

Hi, I desperately need your advice. During the New Year's Eve Church gathering as we all went about wishing each other. I went and shook hands with the girl I like. During the handshake she suddenly put her other palm on top of my hand and rubbed it 3 times, then she wished me and went on to wish others. Since then, I am trying to decipher what that weird handshake meant. Was she trying to tell me something or does it imply anything? Just to give you a background that we don't shake hands or have any physical contact unless it's on occasions which requires Wishing etc. Can you please help me understand why would she have shook my hands in that manner?
Did she shake anyone else's hand similarly? Did she seem particularly eager to shake yours? What was her body language? Did she linger with eye contact and an excited smile? What was the nature of the rubs? It's tough to say for sure whether it meant anything, but these questions can help.
If she looked deeply into your eyes, maintained eye contact for more than 3 seconds, shifted her body to face yours before she greets you, did she change the cadence of her voice for you? Did her eyes light up? Was there lingering contact after the greet in silence? You only need one or two of these to say she’s interested. Tread carefully, flirt consciously. Look for these signs when you talk to her.

I do fine flirting, noticing the flirting, but a lot of the time there is reason not to engage fully. Women in relationships are the biggest flirts!!
