Garlieston Lodge Camping & Caravan site in Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland.
The site is an adults only site, which has 5 van & 3 tent hardstanding pitches. All pitches have 16amp hook up available, the charge includes free showers & novcharge for awnings or pets. There is also wifi available on site, for a small additional charge.
The site is set in 5 acres of woodland, with a 3/4 acre small fishing lake (with brown, rainbow, blue & tiger trout), fishing is barbless hooks only & tickets are available from reception.
Ther is a small breeding herd of rare Large Black pigs (Britain's only black pig, originating from the Old English Hog fro the 16th-17th centuries). There are also a number of Indian runner ducks, which can be seen running aroung the site.
There is a pub a few minutes away (The Harbour In) with good beer & food), also a cafe (The Hive) with excellent food & gorgeous cakes.

Looks a nice site, the pond looked nice at night. It’s a lovely area Dumfries & Galloway isn’t it. Handy when they have the DVDs and Books on the site and the pigs were interesting, 700lbs! Wow!- The cakes looked lovely too. all the best, David & Rachel 👍
