This is the South Downs Light Railway, a miniature railway situated in a garden centre in Pulborough, it is 10¼in gauge. This was another BLS trip in which we did some lines that aren't done by public trains. Our loco for the day was 'Merlin', along with 'Anna' the Tram taking us into the sheds. 'Pulborough' would be on the public trains, joined by 'Merlin' after it finished up our train.
We had a visit around the sheds, in which we were reunited with two ex residents of the Eastleigh Lakeside Railway, these being Royal Scot and the lovely Coronation. Railway Mission was a nice looking engine too and would love to see it running alongside Coronation at a gala in the future.
Toot, toot! Scottie is under overhaul there it seems. Hope she will be running next time you visit. The tram engine should have been named Toby after Toby the Tram Engine from Thomas & Friends.
