You have to get on a waitlist for Apple Intelligence. For some it takes five minutes others weeks to get notification that Ai is ready for your phone. Love the Apple Intelligence.
You're right. I got on the waitlist for my 1st phone and it took a day. The 2nd iPhone took 5 minutes. And my iPad Pro tool a couple of days What's up with that?
OK. I had no idea that this was out. TY for the HEADS UP. I had to watch this again (3x) because My 16 pro was at 18.0.1. I went to update and 18.1 was available. I downloaded it, and installed it but it put me on a waiting list. Miraculously the weight was really short and the next time I accessed the app it was available and I tried to call reporting recording functionality that you described and wow it was great thank you again
Recording IMPORTANT phone calls without fumbling for pen and pad - LIFE SAVER. A.I. Photo searches should save cumulative WEEKS of time. Video memories without searching is very nice. I agree the BEST is "clean up" of unwanted photo bombs is MAGIC. Thanks, Rich - you've made another HIT video

Even though I’ve got IOS 18.1 (Beta apparently) installed on my latest iPhone…in order to use the AI functionality with Siri I’m being requested to change the version of English away from my native UK English. I guess that it requires me to wait for a forthcoming update in order to fully appreciate the benefits of AI/ Siri integration ?
Hey Rich, good video, but you failed to mention that you have to join a waitlist to get the Apple AI. So even though you update to version 18.1 you still don’t necessarily get Apple AI. Hopefully it won’t be long, but I can’t use any of the features that you’ve talked about on your video yet.

In the United Kingdom, the record works fine and saves it to notes, but the transcript is missing. I assume that part to transcript is not for UK at the moment.
They do get notified - it didn't come across in the video very well. They cannot block the recording but of course can refuse the call. Thanks so much for watching!

You’re in US and I’m in UK but do you have to inform the person on the phone that you are recording the conversation or does the phone do that automatically? It might differ in the uk and us but I’m interested.
When I weigh myself, I take a snapshot of the scale's reading. I just tried several words to search for the photos but nothing worked. The scale is mechanical and I move the little weight to the right or left to achieve balance. Is there any way to gather all of the readings? The name starts with IMG so that doesn't help. It would be great if I could select a photo then ask Photos to find all similar images. Then I could gather them all into an album. Thanks for any insight you or others can provide.
The only device that I have that supports Apple Intelligence is my iPad Pro. They need to bring some of these features via the cloud to older devices primarily the writing tools because I found them to be the most useful features so far.
I have updated to 18.1.1 and I don't have it as an option. I have an IPhone 13 Pro. Don't know why it is not there(Apple Intelligence and Siri. I checked and my wife has it on here 15 pro max
Recording other people can be invasive unless they are notified they are being recorded. That wasn’t made clear. His wife knew because he told her. However, the photo improvements are awesome.
I have the iPhone 15 Pro Max as well. And updated it yesterday to 18.1 without an issue. Try it again. You have the chip set for this AI feature so you shouldn’t have an issue. Enjoy! Erich
No. You'll need an iPhone 15 or newer. My wife has a 13 but she said she's not going to upgrade until she can see all the Apple Intelligence features. But my guess is there will be a lot. In this video I just cover a few that grabbed my attention. Thanks so much for watching!
I really enjoyed your videos you have given me many ideas to utilize but artificial intelligence I don’t know about you guys, but this is rather scary. If the computers can do everything then, why are we needed? It doesn’t look like in the reviews. I looked at that anyone else was concerned, but I am keep up the good work.
It's being rolled out first in the US. If you're outside the US it will be available soon. Once available, you'll need to update to the latest version of iOS. After that it'll be there. Hope this helps!

I’ve done the update but don’t appear to have the AI on my I phone 12. Do I need a more up to date phone ?
Does the person on the other end of your call get notified that you are recording the call and can they block you from recording?

Yes. I think you need an iPhone 15 or newer for the full apple intelligence experience.

When I went to install new versions on my iphone 15pro max , the latest is 17.7. So is it because I do not have the newest version of iphone?

Apple Intelligence works on iPhone 15 Pro & Pro Max and iPhone 16
Where I live, it’s illegal to record phone calls (which I’m very HAPPY about !)
AI is not on iPhone 14 either

Apple has rolled this out for the iPhone 15 and newer. Not out for earlier models. I SHOULD have said this upfront in the video.

In a word, yes. But you only have to label a photo or two and the app can figure out all the rest. That feature has been around for. year or two.
