This video is just another slight of hand; It sounds impressive... but it's not scriptural; there are no "artifacts (as we normally would think of them) since all that remains of Sodom and Gomorrah are ashes and bits of sulfur...like the remains found by Ron Wyatt (a novice archaeologist) almost 30 years ago; ...
Those remains, have been rejected by better known and respected archaeologists who are proud of their higher learning, experience and consensus among their peers, who don't believe in God. They are also rejected by "Christians" holding fast to differences in religious traditions and not willing to even consider that a person who hangs their hat on a different set of doctrines might be used of God... Thoroughly enjoyed it and learned a lot about Crete, Minoans, and Sodom and Gomorrah. What is your take on the theory that Sodom and Gomorrah (southern Dead Sea site) were destroyed by an air blast of a meteor or comet in the Early Bronze Age, circa 3123 BC. If the date is correct, it could have destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah in either the Northern or Southern Dead Sea area.

The horror of the culture of pederasty and sodomy is heart wrenching. It is cruel for mothers to give their young sons to be groomed and abused by older men. May God deliver us from such a deviant culture. It is our duty to protect the innocence of our children and bring them up to be holy men and women. God is merciful but He is holy and He punishes abominable practices.

The ignorance and rejection of the truth of the bible, it's such a shame they will be lost to eternal damnation. People if you really want to know if God is real, all you have to do is find a quite place get down on your knees and ask God to reveal himself to you and he will. Caution, for this to work you must be honest and sincere God knows your heart.

Chris Smith it is actually more astute than either of you might realize. Picture 500 years into the future some guy finds the ruins of what used to be London and finds a copy of harry potter. He too might be tempted to go back to his people and say this was a factual account. You see we also have supposedly factual accounts of the exploits of hercules, and of Atlantis. One was written intentionally as a fiction (Atlantis) and was misinterpreted as a factual account by people a few hundred years later who took the story seriously, and the labors of hercules were sometimes written as first hand accounts, but we know from finding similar stories from earlier periods that hercules had already been a legend for quite some time. Even if a man such as hercules existed i doubt the supernatural 12 labors were credible as nobody spoke of them until after hercules had ample time to pass into popular legend. The account of hercules is similar to the Exodus of the bible as it was Not written by Abraham, but by other authors hundreds of years after the fact of its supposed events after it had ample time to pass into legend thusly making any account of the supernatural occurrences as unreliable as the legends of hercules.

@@GypsyPriest You as a Christian have read the Bible and would know that in the original Hebrew cities meant people and inhabitants as a collection of humans. Now as the Bible states the cities were brought to ashes and in another passage brought to ruin it never states that literally the city walls and foundations were brought to ashes or ruin.
Those sinning people were burned to ashes and destroyed. And in knowing this you need to examine pictures of Pompeii in Italy where the temperature became well over 2,000 degrees and in a few seconds was incinerated. Those walls remained and many buildings also even though collapsed and burned and buried in ash.
Also if sulfur and brimstone had come from near the salt lake from a flash over of a burned out meteor then the outer parameter would be riddled in the downward trajectory with sulfur and brimstone's as well.
We dare not question how God's active force destroyed them all but as with Egypt before the Exodus Many Egyptians ignored acts of God as natural occurrences likewise.

@@about2mount, "we dare not ask"? That's not scriptural.
"It is for God to conceal a matter and the glory of the King to search it out"
"Come and let us reason together"
"I will show you wonderful things that you knew not of"
      ...
Where do the Holy Scriptures tell us that this judgment was a natural event? It doesn't say that; it was a specific intervention of God. Maybe you think Jesus had some kind of special water shoes so that He could walk on water? Some special ingredient the New Testament doesn't mention that He told the servants to add to the water at the wedding so as to turn it into wine?
Have you even taken the time to investigate the story of Ron Wyatt and now all the people who have followed up with all he did?
The sulfur balls found in the real (ashen remains) of the cities of the planes is like no other sulfur ever found on earth and it is only found in the five cities, which are located right where they should be according to what the Holy Scriptures describe.
Ron Wyatt found the five cities that were destroyed and others want to discredit him... but they will fall into the holes they're digging.

    • @GypsyPriest
      @GypsyPriest 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@about2mount I never saw your comment but TW asked me something just today... So here I am.
You created a "straw man" in your opening...
While it is true that cities are (at times) references to people and Mountains are (at times) in reference to kingdoms, both are (at times) exactly what they say they are. So, if you are suggesting something beyond what is clearly written, you must bring with it, other Bible verses that back your hypothesis.
I'll wait... I have time... go ahead and search.
While you're searching I think I'll just look around a bit... That's what Ron was doing when he found the actual ruins of exactly and only five locations, all with ashen ruins caused by granite being heated to extreme temperatures all with small round, balls of sulfur of a purity embedded in what seem like walls of collapsing buildings, found only in those five places in all the earth (so far)...
Weird right. And, by calculating from what is written in Scripture, they are all in the range of the "five cities (not people) of the planes".
Oh well. All five are probably just interesting geological formations... you know... as usual, when antagonist scientists don't want anything biblical being proven to be true.

What a fallacy! The discovery of Sodom does not bring credibility to the Bible any more than the discovery of Troy brings credibility to Iliad or any more credibility that the discovery of Rome brings credibility to Ovid's account of Romulus ascending to heaven. This video lacks the basics in critical thinking.

This guy is a fraud. Around 1987, Ron Wyatt found the actual ashen ruins of Sodom and Gomorrah and the other four cities that were destroyed with them, complete with sulfur balls that are of a type not found anywhere else on earth to date and they were (and still are) found only at those five sites along with a few other pieces of compelling evidence.

@@GypsyPriest Yea, but did he find sex toys in his excavation? Dr. Collins's team found sex toys. I don't think you've found Sodom if you haven't dug up any sex toys. I can't believe no one is talking about that thing that Chad made Dr. Collins reluctantly tell us about without skipping a beat or forgetting a detail.
Dr. Collins and Ron Wyatt both appear to fall well short of meeting the academic standards required for legitimate scientific research, so I'm not sure either is in any danger of being taken seriously by the scientific community. Dr. Collins's academic credentials are tied to a statement of faith that affirms "the inerrancy and historicity of the Bible" and "the divine work of non-evolutionary creation including persons in God's image" (1), so he's only ever going to be as accurate as the Bible. And Mr. Wyatt didn't appear to have received any formal archaeological training at all(2). It seems he's best known for having not found Noah's Ark and a number of other Biblical sites.
Either way, I imagine it's going to be someone like Dr. Collins or Mr. Wyatt who finds the site because they're the ones out there looking. But they're basically going to have to do all of the heavy lifting themselves, and without the benefit of sufficient formal education, before the scientific community will pay attention to it. My guess is that the credentialed archaeologists aren't looking for Sodom and Gomorrah for the same reason that credentialed biologists aren't looking for bigfoot. If someone actually finds it, and properly proves it, then I'm sure the proper scientists will want to get involved. But there's a lot more interesting stuff out there that involves genuine new discoveries, not just confirming something people said a few thousand years ago. That's where all the exciting stuff is.
When Dr. Collins gets all worked up about the astrophysicists who worked with him, he makes it sound like they're going to confirm that God did it. I'll have to look up what they published to see if they landed on the same conclusion that scientists currently have (a meteor that disintegrated in the atmosphere). And did Dr. Collins say "sometimes dinosaur-ending..." when he was talking about the meteor? That's the secular view of the extinction of the dinosaurs. The Christian view is that they were wiped out in the Great Flood. Maybe he was joking.

Visiting and seeing Israel , Jerusalem and all the other cities that have already been archaeologically verified prove the Bible already . Jesus gave the disciples a command right before His ascension and it didn’t have anything to do with archaeology or the discovery of past artifacts ie ( Noah’s ark, ark of the covenant, ancient destroyed cities, a bronze serpent on a pole, or even The body of Moses,), and in my own opinion all that stuff doesn’t really convict a sinful soul to reach for the redemption of the resurrected Christ for salvation. The only thing that comes out of the ground that can save sinful man is Christ Jesus, because if not the disciples would have been majoring in archaeology and not humility! ......Noah’s Ark would be on display by now, don’t ya think 🤔!
Luke 16:31 Abraham said if they don’t listen to Moses and the prophets they won’t listen even if someone rises from the dead.
Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world God‘s invisible qualities.... His eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
From what I read in the Holy Bible , it’s God’s opinion and option to use Fulfilled prophecy to verify God’s Word ( the Whole “Holy Bible”) and everything written down to redeem lost souls and not use lost artifacts to vindicate the Bible’s authentication.
But for academic and educational reasons use your digging trials and goopas for whatever you want for God does not need your help to vindicate His word through the discovery of an artifact in the ground, but what came out of the ground 2000 years ago, Christ Jesus our Lord.
So please correct yourself about the discovery of another destroyed ancient city to prove the Word of God to prove to the unbelievers hell is a real place, for in Romans 2:4 we read “ or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and long-suffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance.
Pretty clear here Brother in Christ.
