Make it Sucrose/Kazuha instead of sucrose/mona because the former perform a similiar role of buffing your teams EM and Mona is just there to amplify the damage of Raidens Elemental Burst that's why it's cast just before her Q. Also you can replace Bennet with Kujou Sara if you have her for the time being but imo Bennet is just better because Electro resonance is nothing worth sacrificing such an amazing healer/atk booster/battery for. Don't worry, there's another way for new players. There's this 3 star catalyst weapon called Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers. It's a 3 star so it's very easy to refine it to refinement 5, which gives your DPS 48% more ATK for 10 seconds right after switching the character.

@@rittiksikdar7690 At the moment she is a suboptimal support in the current meta teams, thing is she can be an easy fit in some teams that don't rely on reactions since she recharges energy for all members of the party regardless of their element. She takes the place of your battery in case you don't have one, but again, Venti can do that with his lvl 70 talent almost as well as her while he can run viridescent and he doesn't need to be on field to do it so...we'll have to wait until new characters are released to see her potential with them.

Yep, I did notice my Raiden did 100k on the abyss the other day, also I did my first 36 stars with her without trying too hard. Quite happy with it actually :)

My Raiden deals 100k Burst damage with Zhongli ToM, Bennett, and Xiangling. But the reason why it is still low, is because I have a White Tassel as her wep (didn't have time to farm The Catch)
This was really f2p friendly. I got raiden this update and my characters usually don't have a high damage output. I dont have a built kujo sara but I have built Lisa before, so ill be using her. Thanks man.
Wow, this was one of the simplest yet helpful videos relating to Genshin I've seen in a while. I expected a spreadsheet full of numbers I would actually not give a damn about or the same infromation I hear in every video only formulated different but you actually give us important infromation about the best team comps for her and that her Elemental skill does apply on her to.
this is definitely one of the best guides I've seen- approaches damage boosting from a broad pov, without expecting to have certain characters and offering all kinds of solution (ttds, vv, etc)

This is what I have been trying to tell people, it dosnt matter if electro reactions are weak, just buff the actual element itself and then you won't feel like electro is weak. Also it's all about utility with electro, for me it's for staggering/stunning enemies and for having faster recharge on bursts. Double electro is probably my favorite resonance right now it just makes the game feel so much smoother when I can spam bursts on cooldown without needing to stack ER on every character.

I just test my raiden burst dmg on cryo reg, with buff/debuff electro with kazuha + burst bennet + yanfei to get pyro resonance with full 60 stack raiden, I got 130K, thats nice 👌
the first part was very similar to Zyox or someone I saw earlier but there was some other stuff that wasnt similar to others so thats nice. It helps. Altho its all basic stuff known to the og players and depends on availability... you did great by showing various comps for those who feel like they need to watch guides and follow it exactly as it is in the video and just grind their heads to mush

that’s the thing about Shogun, as fun as it is making her one shot she then then misses out completely on her kit of being a team battery because there’s no enemies to charge from after you start the burst. lots of decisions to be made

I agree, she is SS-tier. It is her element that hold her back. Raiden doesn't need to be fix It is the Electro that need to be fix, it is the weakest element in the game.
That's some real damage. Honestly it's so easy to buff Raiden that I managed to deal over 70k damage. That was the first time I saw such numbers on my team. And there's a whole lot of scope for improvement. My team: 1.Baal's burst level 6, catch at R3 2.Using sucrose for EM and elemental Res shred 3. Mona for her omen debuff/buff I haven't yet used buffers such as benny boy or sara.
@@whiteincolour tfw I still only do like 70-100k with a crowned Zhongli's ult lol I tried different builds and it doesn't get much better; for some reason I have a harder time building him compared to all the other characters - which is sad cuz he's one of my faves- farming artifacts is PAINFUL ; it's been months and the best I could do for him is 70/180 CR/CD ratio, the struggle is real😂
This is what we need, showing damage from unconditional to conditioned, not like some youtuber who said "Look Raiden can deal unga bunga damage" but didnt mention their highly invested support behind that damage.
People are mad because of the electro element, and her interaction with beidou's burst. I just don't get it why do others feel the need to trashtalk a specific character, when the character itself is very good.

They have been playing the same characters for months so they are getting bored and don't want to use new characters because they don't do more damage than their current team (lot of people haven't even built her to full potential yet), so they call it trash to cope
She's still okay, but the issue is that MHY intentionally made her underpowered. In the beta, her E dealt damage to abyss mage shields and her ult worked with Beidou's, which is not the case in the current game because they deliberately changed it. At the same time, they switched her C4 (Which is a MASSIVE damage increase) to her C2 to coax low/mid spenders to get her C2 to make her feel viable. And I gotta say, it kinda works. I saved for Baal for a few months, got her and engulfing lightning, and she feels pretty underwhelming. I've been tempted to spend money for her C2 because she's my favorite character and I *want* her to be really good. Out of all of the team comps KQM has tested her on, the only one she offers a damage increase on is national comp against C1 Sucrose. She is, so far, objectively meh. I'm not going to trash talk really any character, but I can understand where these people are coming from. They have the right to be angry, even if they are overexaggerating it. We shouldn't be accepting mediocrity, she's a god for Christ's sake.

The reason it worked during beta is because her hits were not considered as burst dmg so Beidou's burst was being triggered. Since they changed it to burst dmg type, Beidou's burst doesn't do that anymore. I hope they will change it though

Terms of DPS or Burst support is kinda vague imo. In my own words, Baal is a DPS Burst Support, she takes quite some time on field while supporting your team
oK so this was actually extremely helpful!! I just need to build my other support characters :’) sucrose and mona- i dont have bennett, but im gonna save mats for him until i get him so i can max him. Earlier today, i was messing around with baal’s ult and hit 35k (and then 41k later on) with literally only kazuha’s talent buff. I freaked out so bad because none of my characters can do ult damage that high. I then tested with my friend with her yoimiya and some more support-not-support characs (we both dont have bennett and my mona isnt built and neither of our sucrose are built either), but we managed to get her ult to 45k on the cryo flower. But with this information, ig I’ll just have to ult spam coordinately and hope it works.
Its only the burst dmg....not even counting the e skills on field dmg.....sword hit dmg....added bonus is the energy recovery....this is what we need she's so good and broken but still some content creators don't realize it....great work...👏👏👏❤

The energy charge also provide better elec damage for the team and Baal ultimate which also make her always have her ult. Use Baal e then everyone ult after the full stack unleashed deal all the damage and charge your team to go back again. Even if your Baal don't deal any damage she can be a good battery and support electro (fishl) less damage but a lot of particles and reaction.

I loved this! But this just shows how lacking the electro elements is, having to do all of this preparing and buffing in order to make them useful in a place like the abyss, electro really does need a buff or some sort of rework.
@@faey69 actually no, the amount of dmg raiden deals during her entire ult is quite significant, my raiden does over 350k easily, and this guy's raiden must deal like over 500k dmg if you count every slash in her sword stance, but I still wish beidou's ult worked with raiden...I really love them both and I wanted to pair them together...They could change beidou's ult and make it work like xinqiu's ult

Bennet is for healing and DMG buffs while Xinqiu can help with additional dmg to your main DPS with his burst and his elemental skill grants you dmg reduction and a small heal. Both are really good but i wouldn't necessarily compare them
This helped me, I could only pull 80k with raiden and with this I managed to squeeze out a 141k! Thanks a lot. going to keep playing with different teams.
C1 only boost the resolve stack faster u need c2 for damage boost if u really wanted more go for c3 and stop there now you will get youtubers number lol

Her problem is her energy recharge, she supposed to be a really good battery. And that's how she should support and she's not even good at it. Plus her E damage scaling is so bad
Still mediocre unit for an archon just cause of her element, while you can bring her to every comp, she is not BiS on it and can be replaced, example of national team, you can bring her for the 4th slot, but whats the point if you can bring kazuha which will give better results. She needed versatility and more comps rather than damage. If you bringing tons of support like bennet kazuha mona just to buff her, thats basically you turning her into mdps, which isnt good cause spreading them into 2 abyss team is better than using them in 1 comp just for buffing raiden, also there are arguably better mdps. Not saying her kit is bad, just electro held back so much of her potential especially her E, if she was hydro she gonna be the best support in the whole game, but nah sadly shes electro, which is bad in current state.
not BiS = trash? I guess people should start wishing on weapon banner because that copium 4* weapon isn't BiS so why use it? Don't get me wrong I'd love to see electro buffed, but calling this character trash is just being narrow sighted. Teams like national comp have been optimized for months, potentially crowned xiangling+bennett. Raiden is new and nobody has crowned her yet, her potential can go even higher. For an electro character, she's amazing and Mihoyo did a good job tbh (I'd really like for her to work with Beidou though) Her E damage is kinda weak but that's not the main point of the skill, she basically gives a 2p noblesse to team members. People are being too selfish thinking every player has every character and should all use the best team in the current meta game. Mihoyo making balanced characters is actually a good thing especially for F2P players

This is what I have been trying to tell people, it dosnt matter if electro reactions are weak, just buff the actual element itself and then you won't feel like electro is weak. Also it's all about utility with electro, for me it's for staggering/stunning enemies and for having faster recharge on bursts. Double electro is probably my favorite resonance right now it just makes the game feel so much smoother when I can spam bursts on cooldown without needing to stack ER on every character.

I just test my raiden burst dmg on cryo reg, with buff/debuff electro with kazuha + burst bennet + yanfei to get pyro resonance with full 60 stack raiden, I got 130K, thats nice 👌
Be remembered that electro can’t do elemental reaction like pyro or cryo.. so that’s really awesome tho

that’s the thing about Shogun, as fun as it is making her one shot she then then misses out completely on her kit of being a team battery because there’s no enemies to charge from after you start the burst. lots of decisions to be made

That's some real damage. Honestly it's so easy to buff Raiden that I managed to deal over 70k damage. That was the first time I saw such numbers on my team. And there's a whole lot of scope for improvement.
My team:
1.Baal's burst level 6, catch at R3
2.Using sucrose for EM and elemental Res shred
3. Mona for her omen debuff/buff
I haven't yet used buffers such as benny boy or sara.

They have been playing the same characters for months so they are getting bored and don't want to use new characters because they don't do more damage than their current team (lot of people haven't even built her to full potential yet), so they call it trash to cope
She's still okay, but the issue is that MHY intentionally made her underpowered. In the beta, her E dealt damage to abyss mage shields and her ult worked with Beidou's, which is not the case in the current game because they deliberately changed it. At the same time, they switched her C4 (Which is a MASSIVE damage increase) to her C2 to coax low/mid spenders to get her C2 to make her feel viable.
And I gotta say, it kinda works. I saved for Baal for a few months, got her and engulfing lightning, and she feels pretty underwhelming. I've been tempted to spend money for her C2 because she's my favorite character and I *want* her to be really good. Out of all of the team comps KQM has tested her on, the only one she offers a damage increase on is national comp against C1 Sucrose. She is, so far, objectively meh.
I'm not going to trash talk really any character, but I can understand where these people are coming from. They have the right to be angry, even if they are overexaggerating it. We shouldn't be accepting mediocrity, she's a god for Christ's sake.

About the beidou interaction, I don't think it's deliberate. The reason it worked during beta is because her hits were not considered as burst dmg so Beidou's burst was being triggered. Since they changed it to burst dmg type, Beidou's burst doesn't do that anymore. I hope they will change it though

Terms of DPS or Burst support is kinda vague imo. In my own words, Baal is a DPS Burst Support, she takes quite some time on field while supporting your team

oK so this was actually extremely helpful!! I just need to build my other support characters :’) sucrose and mona- i dont have bennett, but im gonna save mats for him until i get him so i can max him. Earlier today, i was messing around with baal’s ult and hit 35k (and then 41k later on) with literally only kazuha’s talent buff. I freaked out so bad because none of my characters can do ult damage that high. I then tested with my friend with her yoimiya and some more support-not-support characs (we both dont have bennett and my mona isnt built and neither of our sucrose are built either), but we managed to get her ult to 45k on the cryo flower. But with this information, ig I’ll just have to ult spam coordinately and hope it works.
tysm this really helped me to better understand raiden's kit, hopefully i get her on her next rerun in 3.3!! cuz i'm 50/50 and at literally 0 pity 😭

The energy charge also provide better elec damage for the team and Baal ultimate which also make her always have her ult.
Use Baal e then everyone ult after the full stack unleashed deal all the damage and charge your team to go back again.
Even if your Baal don't deal any damage she can be a good battery and support electro (fishl) less damage but a lot of particles and reaction.
This guide is clearer than my future.

@@faey69 actually no, the amount of dmg raiden deals during her entire ult is quite significant, my raiden does over 350k easily, and this guy's raiden must deal like over 500k dmg if you count every slash in her sword stance, but I still wish beidou's ult worked with raiden...I really love them both and I wanted to pair them together...They could change beidou's ult and make it work like xinqiu's ult

Xingqiu is probably the best support character in the game, even more so than Bennett.
So I can use xinqiu instead of Bennett?

Bennet is for healing and DMG buffs while Xinqiu can help with additional dmg to your main DPS with his burst and his elemental skill grants you dmg reduction and a small heal. Both are really good but i wouldn't necessarily compare them

C1 only boost the resolve stack faster u need c2 for damage boost if u really wanted more go for c3 and stop there now you will get youtubers number lol
C1 is good bc you will always have 60 stacks when you use her burst. But C2 and C3 are on another lvl, her damage gets even higher
you'll have an easier time getting resolve stacks and yes if you follow the builds in this vid you will get similar results this definitely counts.

Still mediocre unit for an archon just cause of her element, while you can bring her to every comp, she is not BiS on it and can be replaced, example of national team, you can bring her for the 4th slot, but whats the point if you can bring kazuha which will give better results. She needed versatility and more comps rather than damage. If you bringing tons of support like bennet kazuha mona just to buff her, thats basically you turning her into mdps, which isnt good cause spreading them into 2 abyss team is better than using them in 1 comp just for buffing raiden, also there are arguably better mdps. Not saying her kit is bad, just electro held back so much of her potential especially her E, if she was hydro she gonna be the best support in the whole game, but nah sadly shes electro, which is bad in current state.
not BiS = trash? I guess people should start wishing on weapon banner because that copium 4* weapon isn't BiS so why use it?
Don't get me wrong I'd love to see electro buffed, but calling this character trash is just being narrow sighted. Teams like national comp have been optimized for months, potentially crowned xiangling+bennett. Raiden is new and nobody has crowned her yet, her potential can go even higher. For an electro character, she's amazing and Mihoyo did a good job tbh (I'd really like for her to work with Beidou though)
Her E damage is kinda weak but that's not the main point of the skill, she basically gives a 2p noblesse to team members.
People are being too selfish thinking every player has every character and should all use the best team in the current meta game. Mihoyo making balanced characters is actually a good thing especially for F2P players
