I had the opportunity to buy that Macca Root from Marshall’s for $7.00, but I couldn’t get passed the scent, for me it was just strange, and you’re right if there made a citrus offering it would be a lot better, it did make a nice slick lather for you though.

Hi Chris, no cube pre shave this time? You won't burn thru it this way lol. This soap is really slick but I don't like the scent so I gave it away. Have a nice day.

Hi Chris, great video. I've been looking for a comparison video between these 2 razors. I have 3 questions: 1. I'm a head shaver as well and wondered if you've used either of these on your head. I know you typically use a Leaf, but I was curious. I'm currently using a Rockwell 6C and have been considering switching to a single edge. I'd prefer using 1 razor for face and head. 2. What is your favorite Razorock Razor and do you like it better than the Rockwell? 3. Completely unrelated what is your favorite synthetic brush or synthetic knot?
1. No, I don't really like AC shavers on the head because they are wide and often times the blade isn't in full contact with the dome. 2. My favorite RazoRock razor is the Lupo and like it as much as the Rockwell. Keep in mind the Rockwell is technically adjustable though so that gives a lot of options. 3. Favorite synthetic knot is the Cashmere knot by APShaveco.
Great comparison shave! How do you feel the RazoRock V2 Aluminum Hawk compares to the RazoRock V3 SS Hawk with the standard plate? I have the V2 Hawk and it seems quite mild.
@@IAMCDB Thanks, I have looked at the RazoRock razor chart and searched the forums and as usual there are many different opinions on how the V3 performs compared to the V2 and how the different V3 plates perform compared to each other. I think I will start with the V3 standard plate since you seem to be pretty happy with it.
Thank you for this comparison video. I do know these take way more effort to make. My birthday will be in February. Thinking of buying myself a hawk :-) thanks again
Chris: is it fair to compare soaps and creams on the basis of cost oer weight unit? A cream would have a higher moisture content and therefore less ”soap atoms”, i.e. you need a higher weight of cream to create a lathet compared to a soap, esoecially a hard soap.
You're right, they most likely don't measure up on a shave to shave basis just as a hard triple milled soap probably offers more shaves. The cost thing is just a general guideline insofar as stating what the cost per ounce is. I think this cream is still well priced at $15 per 6.3 ounces however as the consistency is similar to some of the soft artisanal soaps out there.

Haha, I don’t believe so.
Hey GM Chris, Very nice comparison video. I also just wanted to let you know that the package will be in the mail either today or tomorrow and I will email you the tracking number. There is also a couple surprises I will be leaving with you in the package.....if you want to give them away, or keep them that's fine too. Thank you and Best Wishes.
Thanks so much Joe, I appreciate you brother. I hope you have a great day.
Shout out to www.thebodyshop.com/en-us/face/mens-grooming/maca-root-aloe-softening-shaving-cream-for-men/p/p002836 for being all animal cruelty free and vegan always. My choice is the Razorock Hawk for the value and three hours later you would not know the difference on your face what you used. Easier to get and a variety of plates🤙 Razorock nailed it!
😊
