Thats one of my favorite razors! Audio is good, but applying compression may give you an interesting result. It won’t change the sound necessarily, but instead will normalize volume to some extent during loud or quiet scenes. Thanks for the video!

#1. I am not a fussy or hypercritical person. In my opinion, your new camera setup did a fine job of recording and rendering the video. The very slight blurriness that occurred I attribute to part of the break in and getting use to the new equipment, I didn't see anything demonstrably wrong with the lighting. I suppose you could add a light ring that so many vloggers use to enhance certain aspects but continued use without additional lighting would be okay, if it were my setup, with me. #2. I have not used my Hulk Green Hawk razor in over a year and this video inspires me to pull my thumb and give it a spin especially since I'd like to have it shootout with the Eco. #3. I have a sample of Zingariman EDT so I have a good idea of the scent strength of the soap. One of these days I'll get around to trying it out. Cryptic Message #3...Delos arrival imminent...

Love my Hawk V3 and bought all the plates for it. Honestly the best plate is the "A" plate huge gap but feels as smooth and safe as the standard plate so no point in really using it. OC plate is pretty good but a bit to much blade feel for me. Nice shave

Interesting video Sig with your new camera and your new Razorock hawk V3 razor, looks like it shaved well for you with no issues. As for you camera, sound is good , picture has to much light so you lose detail in the back ground surroundings and face detail also. Like a lot of new camera's the auto-focus is not as good as previous models IMO also. So you might have to tinker with software parameters in the camera set up a little. Have a great weekend.

One of this camera's special features is the background defocus function. To kind of add an 3D effect and make the person in the vid stand out. (Your comments indicate that you know all of this already. 🙃) However, the camera was too eager to find the 'products' so my face became blury and unclear in especially the second half of the vid. I also didn't use extra light and/or other than the standard auto aperature setting. I need to play more with the setting(as you suggest) To be honest I was a bit disappointed in everything, but the sound (which is my usual mic, which I know well). Nice Sig! To me that lather looks great and about how I like it for shavettes. The scent would be too much for me, but it looks like it worked good. I've heard lots of good stuff about the hawk and I think they have a smaller head model that might be up my alley. I do like the rake styling which reminds me of one of my favorites, the Thorn. That's another one of those razors, that I've been meaning to customize, to enhance it's look to match it's effortless shave.

Hey Sig. I really enjoy this razor. It's a nice simple and smooth razor to use. My only complaint is the width of artist club blades. They make me shave too fast, and I enjoy shaving! If they were 1/10 the size, I could shave 10x as long. I'd like to see artist club style razors with an injector width blade. Most injector blade razors are the typical injector heads instead of a 3 piece. Narrow blades are nice under the jaw from ear to Adam's apple. How do your other artist club razors? I know nothing about cameras or making videos, but I am pretty proficient at watching them. One thing I see is when people want to hold the razor close to the camera to zoom in on details, they hold their other hand behind it to block everything behind it (namely you). The hand effectively becomes the background, and it focuses on the razor. This shouldn't be too hard to do with those giant paws you've got!

There are three different plates. RZK says that the order of aggression is: Standard SB-OC-Aggressive SB. However to me the OC is by far the most aggressive of the three. I prefer the Standard plate. Great video, Sig - obviously produced by that famous photographer, Mr Otto Focus! Don’t be disheartened, though. You’ll get the hang of the new camera. Looks like a depth of field problem to me, but I’m no expert. As for the shave: Zingari Man is great stuff. I find it very slick, and easy to use. Santa Claus lathers aren’t always as effective as leaner, moister and less structured ones (but I know your view is the fluffier the better - like a soufflé!) I’m sure the razor is great (my 3 RR razors are all excellent), but I’ve got too many DE razors as it is, so starting down the SE rabbit hole is not something I’m keen to do. Cheers. 👍🪒
