It’s interesting how many waxes use paraffin as a blend and don’t disclose it. I’m glad people are realizing paraffin isn’t as bad as people think. Great video :)
I'm very new to candle making, and this is a wonderful review! Something I will ruck into my goals pockets for later☺. In fact, I've emailed this company for more info on the smaller melter, and have book marked their website as their prices are very competitive!
Awesome!!! I'm not sure if I missed any of what you said, but once all the wax is melted, you turn off the melter while pouring or keep it on a low temperature?
They haven't lied, as paraffin is also a natural product, just derived from carbonised animal and plant remains instead of plants. There is such a anti-paraffin attitude in certain circles. Which is funny really as soya etc all has been refined and processed in order to be transformed into their final wax form.
In their statement they state all natural with coconut, palm, soy. They never mentioned paraffin and when asked (in the past) they stated that it wasn’t in the blend. Paraffin isn’t the issue, the issue if giving false information. I have nothing against paraffin, I use Ceda Serica from Calwax knowingly since it is disclosed.
@@ArianeArsenault exactly. It's about customers being able to give informed consent, which is becoming increasingly rare in this world, in all areas. If we don't have total disclosure of all ingredients and have faith in these companies to be honest, what are we left with? I think we know the answer to that.
@@lauriewilson4741 I've known people allergic to soy wax, so swings and and roundabouts really. Though in the EU and UK full disclosure of ingredients used in a candle is legally required on the label.
Paraffin wax IS all natural. It COMES FROM nature and is just a by product of a refinery process. I cannot fathom why people get so bent out of shape about a small bit of paraffin wax being in a blend. 🤦🏻♂️
That is not the issue. The issue is about transparency and what is in the blend. This is a wax that can be used for massage and anything that goes on the skin needs a list of ingredients.
So, what if someone is allergic to paraffin? You sell them a paraffin candle and there is no paraffin on your ingredient list? Hope you have good insurance.
Unfortunately time has definitely changed for worse , I have noticed that 3 years ago lots of people used to watch your videos and now only 3 thousand . People are focused on how to survive .
Actually paraffin is natural, it comes from petroleum which nature has fabricated, it too is extracted just the same as all the other waxes we all use. So in the end they all come from plant material. Perhaps we confuse natural with good...we should be carefull with that concept.....many natural substances can cause very serious grief to say the least....
Oh I am not against paraffin in candles at all, but what I don’t like is when companies make statements, like that their wax doesn’t contain paraffin, but then it turns out it did contain paraffin. I do buy other waxes that do have paraffin, like the Ceda Serica from Calwax. It’s a great wax.
Thank you so much for the review! I’m glad you love the melter, I’m using two of the smaller ones now and love it. 😁
Love to watch Ariane in her workshop studio for making candles and soap.. Thanks and say Hi from Jakarta, Indonesia🇮🇩

Paraffin when burnt is quite harmful to the body.
@@thedigitalidiot can you link tire study proving that? I’d love to read it.
I really love your channel , thank you for all the great information and education you are giving.
I am truly grateful to have found your channel
Thank you so much for the review, I just ordered the same melter!
💞Hello Ariane! I’ll be buying the same model you have tomorrow unless you have another melter that you favor more? Thank you so much!💞
OMG, he is only 1 hour south of me!!! Thank you!!!❤️
Wow that melter really looks like a hot compress warmer used in clinics etc.
Abraços do Brasil, Ariane ! Aprendendo com você !! Talentosa e Inspiradora!! 😍😘💕🦋💜

Where do you purchase your wick centering tools?
I do my own blend and i love paraffin gives the best scent throw
This would be great for blending waxes!
@@ArianeArsenault The best soy for me was the eco soy 210 or 220, did you try american soy it goes well with coconut wax

I keep in on the pour temperature setting so the wax stays just at that perfect temperature
@@ArianeArsenault SUPER!!!! Thanks!

A non-colored candle with no scent??? That is a nice melter

Recently seen a post that someone was allergic to paraffin. Good reason to disclose. Inform customers. Transparency

I recommend you look into fortified shampoo for fast hair growth.
Does the wax melter heat from the bottom???
Yes I believe it does
