    Nice to see you visited Store Korsnes! Most people only go there for fishing.
    Don’t miss the scenic road to Havoysund when you are in Olderfjord!
    Thanks for sharing your trip 👍👋

      It was a lucky day, I think. Just the right type of clouds at the right time of day and the right season. Wow

      Thanks. I wish I'd had three or four times the time to spend in each place though. Every time I passed a sign saying "some small village this way, 17 km" but I didn't have time, I'd wish I could go. Maybe next time...!

    There is just something special when we watch your vlogs. They are so well done and you are just a natural.
    How much time did you serve for triple skipping that stone?
    What a beautiful country. Hope we get there someday.

      @T1DWanderer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks a lot for saying that! Glad you're enjoying these :)
      I got into a heated and ill-advised argument with the arresting officer about how many skips the stone actually did, so they gave me life

    8:52 Atric convoy shippingroute I guess... from Britain to Murmansk during the war. The germans attaced them repeatedly again and again.

      Yes, the fortress at Storekorsnes was a part of the German Atlantic Wall fortification, and it also served as part of the protection for the naval base in the Altafjord where the battleships Tirpiz and Scharnhorst were based for a longer period of the war.

    Have you had any reindeer meat or milk?

    • @T1DWanderer
      @T1DWanderer  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Not milk, but I had reindeer meat a few times on the trip. You'll see a bit of that in upcoming videos!

    You should bring with you a cup, and drink that lovely water in those small rivers up in north. It's better water than the tap and bottle water.

    • @T1DWanderer
      @T1DWanderer  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would hope it's clean!

    • @protestagain
      @protestagain ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@T1DWanderer As long as there is running water, and the more rushing it is, the cleaner it is, but even close to stagnant water can be completely clean to drink in the north. But check if there is anyone living above where you are going to drink, without that necessarily making the water worse, but agriculture does and larger settlements.

    Bonjour 🙂 expensive petrol in Norway?

    • @T1DWanderer
      @T1DWanderer  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Pretty expensive -- it was about US$70 to fill up the car. Compared to the US, at least, that's pricy

    • @ruff500
      @ruff500 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Why is gasoline expensive in an oil-producing country 🙂 a rhetorical question

    • @T1DWanderer
      @T1DWanderer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I read that Norway exports all of its own oil, and buys oil from somewhere else for its own use. I don't know why

    • @ruff500
      @ruff500 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The reason is the high taxes on petroleum products💰

    • @abcabcboy
      @abcabcboy ปีที่แล้ว

      @@T1DWanderer Norway has limited refining capabilities, so petrol is often imported, weird as it might sound.
