Thats why i loved angler from outside of my country, they always catch and release to prevent the ecosistem of the river until the next generation. Standing applause for you bro 👍👍👍
I know how you were feeling, twenty years odd years ago i caught an exact length Barra on the east alligator river NT , it took me ten years of fishing every weekend to finally crack the metery . If you’re like me you’ll never forget that feeling. Great fish mate, well done 👍
Yep totally agree and had i read this message two days ago i would have said i doubt i will ever get a fish like it again. But the video i just uploaded which will go up tonight or tomorrow is now the biggest barra.. haha crazy times
Lived in The Kimberley boys for enough years to catch some big fish but that deserves CUDOS. We all get rewarded. Those who get the bait get fis. Think like La Fish. Great vibe video respect to La Bulga
@@DeanSilvester No worries and welcome mate. I had already earlier tracked down the video of your even bigger fish posted on your saltwater channel. Subscribed to that channel too. Really impressive 🎣👍🏼
It was 114cm, so it wasn't the longest Barramundi I have ever caught as I have caught two now at 128, but it was by far the fattest and tallest I have caught. I have since caught a bigger fish in there that was 117 and heavy as.
This is one of the best fishing video's I have seen in a long time lovely fishing beautiful fish , quantum hd 💪 and to think it sells for 199 dollars it looks a lot like South Africa in the background thanks for your time and effort to make the video's 👌
Janos Czovek thank you for watching, greatly appreciated.. I have never been to South Africa, would love to go one day. Yep catch a lot of good fish on my smoke HD
This reminds me of a story I heard about my grandfather. He was fishing off off of Cape cod in Provincetown Massachusetts. He landed an 800 lb tuna took a couple hours. He ended up selling most of it back then it was still cheap probably could have made a hundred grand these days
Dont be embarrised by thr grunting i would have sounded like i was dyin lol the oriental guy is funny as shit by the way we dont have these in the usa but i landed a 22lb blue channel catfish and i sounded like all kinds of barn yard animals that day
My father n I usually catch some barramundi every week usually 3 kilo n above with the biggest is 8 kilo n I tell you from my experience we usually don't use that much drag even though we use 50lb braid with 80lb leader bro. In my opinion it'll increase the chances you can snap ypur line n also damaged your equipment. Unless you use some really high end stuff it's okay to use that much drag
awesome fishing by the sounds of it, we often run tight drags to try to keep the fish away from the timber. I am yet to break my line on a fish as i have my drag set well and very good quality lines and knots
