I'm just imagining lore wise the factions summoning their allies from the future or from the past to help them out in the present and inter-temporal camaraderie being a thing

SC1 workers have more hp, which makes them able to survive for longer and scout better

I would love to see them try to be creative with this idea. Imagine a Scarlett and a BW player, even a non-pro like Artosis vs Maru and a BW non-pro.

I am so glad that there is no mirror in this 2 vs 2!. As faz as I know, that is actually a rarity to see (team Terran vs team Protoss) and I have always expect to see a match-up like this one day ;D
In sc2 lotv campaign, u fight the old protoss units tht are under the zergs control.
Amon also uses Guardians and SC1 Queens.

Fun fun fun. I was surprised there wasn't more of the Science Vessel flying EMPs thrown around, as I assume it would have depleted all Protoss shields compared to their SC2 counterpart.
the shield is much more impactful
Also EMP (or even Irradiate) on the High Templar.
You know, a Phoenix Scout combo play might not be out of the question in team games vs terran. Scouts are infamously bad against ground units, but Phoenixes give them an out by making a lot of important ground units into air units, like siege tanks and goliaths. Despite having a similar cost to - and being replaced by - the void ray, scouts might have a chance to outperform their sc2 counterparts for once.
That's a really good idea -- I think that would hose everything on the ground except Thors, Archons, and Ultralisks. Would also work for StarCraft 2 Protoss + StarCraft 1 Terran (Wraiths).
Voidrays have a similar DPS against armored target as scouts by default and prismatic alignment almost doubles it. Plus voids have 2 more range, even in their niche they beat scouts.
Corsairs on the other hand could do well paired with phoenixes as they can prevent ground units to fire. Having the nets on smart cast could make them very powerfull; it's a better blinding cloud that last 3x as long.
@@TyphoonJig . . . But Void Rays cost more Gas and Supply, and Prismatic Alignment has a long cooldown, so it's not as much of an advantage as you think, and Scouts might even come out ahead in a Gas-limited situation.
@@Lucius_Chiaraviglio 25 gas difference isn't that limiting of a factor on a 125 gas unit, especially when you can hit ground for that price and answer the main threat to skytoss : thors (that can't be lifted)
@@TyphoonJig Yeah, the inability to hit ground with more than pebbles is a killer if you run across Thors. So the above-mentioned Corsair (D-Web) + Void Ray combination is better. Come to think it, if you have enough ground army to deal with the Thors without their support, then Corsair (D-Web and anti-Armored) + Phronid (lift and anti-Light) might be the way to go (subject to Gas availability).

It's so cool seeig SC1 units mixed with SC2.
I been saying this since SC2 was released, the sound design on a lot of the SC2 units suck! They sound so generic and bland. The sound the SC1 units have when they attack or use abilities all sound so impactful and badass.
Why it’s only 16 min.This is so sad …..Lowko pls make more of this like 2v2 or 1v1 but longer one ….. I know it’s hard but ….pls

I love this mod, it essentially add another 3 factions to the game, which leads to a lot of new strategies.
Pretty cool seeing how SC1 units perform differently compared with their SC2 versions.
For example the SC2 Siege Tanks and BCs fire faster than their Brood War counterparts, while the SC2 Missile Turrets fire two missiles per attack.

Are SC1 units twice as strong as SC2 units? I'm noticing both SC1 players being half of the SC2 players' supply :o

Zergs are, in general, hard to team with due to creep blocking even the teammates structures for Terran and Protoss. SC2 Terran and SC1 Protoss team could be fun though, as you could do a coordinated marine/zealot drop with shuttles and medivacs, with the zealots being healed by the medivacs.
I want to see a 2v2 TvZ
The reason for the BW players scouting is that their workers accelerate faster!
The mod had to make up for how SCII all get extra income from different things (Mules, chrono, inject), so the mod-makers made the BW workers accelerate faster to compensate.
It also makes worker transfers a better strategy for BW players, as having 2 workers on one patch actually wastes a tiny bit of time more.
Imagine a 4v4 with that mod
They actually did do one. AfreecaTV held a team tournament and they started it with a 4v4. It was:
TY, Cure, Soulkey, and Sn0w
vs
Dark, Classic, Mini, and Action
If you want to watch it, it was streamed on the "AfreecaTV eSports" youtube channel. The same channel that streams the GSL and ASL.
SC1 workers are better for scouting as they a) have better survivability (SCVs have more health and Protoss shields regen during combat) and b) accelerate/decelerate faster, so they can micro better against SC2 workers and early army units

This is exactly what I wanted to see when I learned about this mod. Teams with both versions of the factions.

If both were would ghost, the sc2 team would win. But at least you don't have to pay supply for nukes, like xou normally do.

So the aqua protoss player looked like they weren't doing a whole lot of anything the entire time like... their supply was ass the entire game, the purple protoss was doing all the work to no avail while both terrans were basically holding hands and skipping through the tulips unhindered

In Starcraft 1, creep was exclusively for placing buildings. It had no effect on units. Creep is _much_ more valuable in Starcraft 2.
