They kept it going for months after. IMD was preceded with an event about how men can help women by breaking gender stereotypes. This received repeated attention. On IMD they did actually put out a brief 1 paragraph message acknowledging men's existence without needing to make it about women. Followed within minutes by a report on the breaking gender stereotypes thing where they predictably picked only examples of men giving their all to support the female cause. It's sickening.
