Great updates Alex , thanks for sharing it with us 👍
I'm arriving on Thursday, a week in Cala Dor. Looking forward to it, first time to Majorca!
Have fun!
Fantastic video Alex. I absolutely love the Monday updates. Excellent information
Thank you so much Tommy!!! So much going on in the world of travel and stuff happening here!
One of our group will be using assistance next week. Will keep you posted.
Great update, and good news about the Entry and Exit postponement. Thanks Alex.
Great update Alex. Many thanks for collating the information. Best wishes, John
Thanks for the update on travel Alex, your content really helps with our holiday preparation, you are a true star.
Awww, thanks Anthony!
Great news Alex the passport queues are slow enough. lol.
When we arrived at Palma on Friday night, ( after being stuck on the plane for 30 mins as there were no stairs available, they had already had closed the electronic gates for British tourists, so the slow passport line was huge…I half pleaded with one official, and he came up and let Brits jump the queue… hurrah!
Dear Alex, Finally safely back in Stansted at midnight, thank you for your information. After eight years I love Majorca more and I am planning to move over. Alcudia beach can compare Maldives beach I think. Castell Bellver, Portals Vells and Alcudia beach are my highlights! Thanks and take care. x
I absolutely agree with you. I made many trips far and wide and few beaches compare to Alcudia!
How is the service at hospital in Mallorca? Is there one you highly recommend?? Thank you! 🙏🏻😘
Great news about new travel regulations being postponed. Thanks for the update 😊
Cheers Caroline!
AIRPORT ID SCANNING
There are a few problems with ID Scanning at airports.
The first is why are they doing it. They already have passport scanners.
The other thing is, are they going to be used to enforce the Woke Social Credit Score on travellers.
Who is it going to be run by & who is scanning & selling the Data.
Is it the Corporate Criminals again?
Another thing is what is happening with Business class passengers? Are they going to be exempt from Id Scanning?
And the Rich people who fly on private jets, who checks them.
And of course the Corporate Criminals have probably already found a way to get themselves & their booty out of the airport.
Are the pilots, cabin crew, flight staff, baggage handlers, ground crew, going to be scanned?
Or is this just OCD people control by crazy civil servants
@maxwolfe7194 I'd like to know too. Fingerprints, thought that only happened in police stations
I don't recall a consensus on this either
@@maxwolfe7194 it's because the UK is not part of Europe anymore and has to comply with third country protocols, in the same that the UK is not part of the USA and has to follow protocols when entering... Simples
Michael, thank you for explaining. It's part of Brexit (the UK is no longer in the EU) and must be delivered upon.
looking forward too next week's too ❤
Aww, thanks!
Hi Alex from a cool wet Wiltshire. Many thanks for gathering info re Special Assistance at the Airport, do your best for us please as it would be a shame to tick Majorca off our holiday destinations. Loving your Vlogs. Keep safe 👏❤️🐸
Hello! Thank you for your contribution! Fingers crossed I get some positive feeback!
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun 🤞🤞🤞🤞🐸
wasn't Lanzarote just got back keep up the great vids
Hi Alex, we flew onto Fuerteventura last January and had photo and finger prints taken on the way in.
Why what did you do wrong 😑 .
Went to lanzarote in March had nothing like that
Thanks David!
Alex, they close the electronic gates at will, in the evening. My son flew in an hour earlier around 9pm and they were open….for us closed.
i went to Tenerife in sept. we were fingerprinted and photographed on the self service passport terminal.. we did wait longer than usual and we did have our passport stamped
Thanks for this!
Hi, great video.
We have residency cards for spain and when we come, at the border, no one is interested in seeing them, when we come from uk.
Should we swipe them somewhere or give them to the border people?
Or only if they ask?
Keep up the good work.
J
I come through the family queue and we walk off, but the police check them with our passports so we don't get stamped.
we have been coming to majorca for years my wife is in a wheelchair if you book special assistance be for you go it is ok some people just tern up at airport not booked that is why they get problem
Wonderful news about the e e s. Wax a bit worried not for me but for my mate cal
It may come in eventually tho James, let's see....
I’ll be there in December, do you have a guide on traveling in December?
Hi Alex, do you have any information regarding the new tourist rules being implemented throughout Spain on 2nd December? Apparently there is a massive increase in required information to over 40 specific pieces of information. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks. Kind regards, Colin
It might be delayed - see my update from last week th-cam.com/video/mdQjPEWQG5U/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5gwfdi-C5aSE6dTx&t=650
@MallorcaUnderTheSun - Many thanks for your extremely prompt reply, Alex. Much appreciated.
Happy happy happy talk...........❤️💕🎉🥰 Did you have that one?
Always happy!
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun captain sensible before your time lol 82 or 83 I forget myself lol
No mosquitoes here in Puerto Pollensa. We are lucky 🎉
I think I'll be going there this week ;)
None in Paguera either, as far as I can tell.
Thanks Alex. Common sense prevails for now. I think spain should join the uk outside the EU. Its great and has loads of benefits. 😂. We also have building works all year round so that people dont notice the disruption. :)
Since the Brexit nonsense, we've had to get passports stamped everywhere we've gone. Majorca, Cyprus, Tenerife, mainland Spain, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura but strangely..we weren't stamped in or out of Lanzarote last October-November for some reason.
Maybe it was stamped digitally and you didn't know!
See what you mean about the mosquito problem, one has gone past you on a electric scooter a couple of times so stay safe A,🤡☘☘☘
I don't care about the EES but people aren't tech savvy enough with the new electronic chip passport machines there are no instructions at the terminals but unfortunately it isn't as you just described. You just pop your passport in and walk through this is not how it is.
There are officials to help and signage to explain what to do. I travelled on my own last month. I placed my passport on the reader, the gates opened and I walked through. It was that simple.
Had fingerprint, photo and passport scan in Tenerife, no big deal 🤷🏼♂️
You must have done something naughty 😊 .
@@phillipcarter8045 Post Brexit passport, no issues, think I had to do the same in Denver!
@@lionboy2006wahh wahh brexit wahh wahh.Give it a fking break.
I thought the whole idea of this was to cause as much disruption and grief as possible to the little so the little people would stop flying all together - all part of the WEF plan.
Hi there. I’m going over to PMI for half term in 2 weeks with my 2 children, both whom have autism. I’ll report back if any issues getting the special assistance we’ve booked - we don’t need a chaperone through the airport but usually just use the express lanes so we don’t have to queue. Fingers crossed we can do this here, as waiting around in crowds can be very overwhelming
That doesn’t make you special? My child will be 11 in January and likes football.
Hi Michelle - Also, don't forget to check this out too as the sunflower lanyard isn't officially recognised in Spain. www.aena.es/en/passengers/travellers/passengers-with-special-needs/invisible-disabilities/invisible-disabilities-badge.html.
We flew into Tenerife south last week and both myself and wife had biometrics taken in the way of photo and fingerprints.
Thanks for this !
We’ll have to get used to it. We voted for Brexit to distance ourselves from Europeans and that means joining the slow queue.
Yep!
Fantastic video as usual Alex.
As you are now our "Brits, eyes on the ground" so to speak..
Have you heard any more about this [and I'm being polite] utter nonsense regarding handing over your bank details business at reception?
Was hoping you might have had some Intel regarding it from your sources..
@@Tomfromskem yeah I would like more information on this
06:15 Brexit is what the UK wanted and voted for Alex. Bless ‘em 🇪🇺🇬🇧😂
😂😂😂😂
The UK!? Try England and Wales. Scotland and Northern Ireland voted to stay part of the EU and because we got dragged out of it, everyone's suffering. Ask bar and resraurant owners who struggle to find seasonal staff in holiday resorts. And now we are restricted to 90 days.
Not the U.K.
