This game looks amazing. I clicked on the thumbnail expecting to glance at it for 10 seconds, but it's art style, music, action, and your flawless gameplay kept me hooked the entire time.
Holy shit. I didn't even know this game existed until it popped up in my recommendations and i am overflown with how clean it looks, plays and, which makes me vibe personnaly, the sheer amount of video game references it integrates in it's gameplay : "Earthworm Jim", "Sonic 3 & Knuckles", "Metal Slug" and even "Pokemon"... holy shit it's overwhelming. This is the kind of games you know have been made by true fans of video games.
Games like this were the epitome of video gaming during my childhood. Side scrolling action games with insane difficulty levels. 3 lives..3 continues...one hit kills lol
I knew it ha. I am going to go for an arcade mode clear which basically seems like Expert mode but no health refills between stages and no continues or stage restarts. This is an excellent game!

They're better than ever. The formula has been perfected and the art style is not a limitation anymore. It just gets more and more aesthetically pleasing.

It's short but sweet, and wears its influences on its sleeve, but that certainly doesn't make it a bad game by any metric bar wanting more of it. Damn solid work by the devs for a first game. Seeing it played damn near flawlessly certainly doesn't hurt either. Some serious skill on display here.

I finally got around to this. Pretty disappointed in it. It looked and sounded great, but was criminally short and not very fun. It lacked substance. It was too simple and easy most of the time except for the few bullshit parts. Even the gimmick of a zipline and dash weren't used very often.

I would like to see you beating the 4 special bosses (Special Syaro, Special Rita, Special Miru and Special Irisu) in rabi ribi in the maximum difficulty with no damage, or beating them without healing items at least if no damage is asking for too much.
I just read the tweets and people say it's buggy and only 30min long. This looks like the kind of game that should be more than 5 hrs. Looks really fun..I could fall in love with gaming again if more games are like this with some decent innovation in them. I'd get this for ps4 for sure. Hopefully it's really hard.

This game makes me think of Bionic Commando a little bit, if only it had different routes to the enemy to give it a metroidvania vibe this game would be flawless.
The half circle is your special weapon ammo, like when you grab the power up that shoots electric balls from your whip. The green bar is just your dash cooldown.
This game looks like Megaman + Contra: Hard Corps all in one. Is amazing.
