  • Jajangmyeon or jjajangmyeon is a Korean Chinese noodle dish topped with a thick sauce made of chunjang (black bean paste), diced pork, and vegetables. Here, seafood like Shrimp & Calamari are used.
    Ingredients
    For Black beans Paste Mix:
    Sugar - 1 tablespoon
    Chicken Bouillon Powder - 1 tablespoon (optional)
    Oyster Sauce - 1 tablespoon
    Korean Roasted Balck Beans Paste - 2 tablespoon
    For Cornflour Slurry:
    Cornflour - 1 teaspoon
    Water - 1 tablespoon
    For Janjangmyeon:
    Oil - 1 tablespoon
    Calmari / Squid - 7 to 10 pieces
    Shrimp - 7 to 10 pieces
    Ginger - 1 inch (finely chopped)
    Soya Sauce -1 tablespoon
    Black Beans Paste Mix
    Onion - 1 (large, diced)
    Spring Onion - 1 sprig (finely chopped)
    Cabbage - 1 cup (diced)
    Water - 1/2 cup
    Cornflour Slurry
    Noodles - 2 servings
    Roasted Sesame Seed Oil - 1 teaspoon
    Cucumber - to serve
    Here, Udon Noodles has been used. One can use any noodles of their preference.
