    That cutting tool is amazing! Takes the trees down like toothpicks.

    When you get that leveled the way you want it and then covered with topsoil and some nice grass, it's going to make a beautiful lakeside park ! 👍

    Wow that was amazing! So cool to watch how easy it was to take down trees! You have done a lot at the cottage and it is so exciting to see your vision becoming a reality. You do good work, but take care of yourself. Thanks for sharing 😂

    just started watching your show when you got the cottage well I think you got it a yr or two before I started watching lol I found it very interesting and amazing you lucked out on the Cottage property with all the extras...I wondered if you found pictures that if they didn't want them maybe their kids may have wanted them. I just had some so-called friends packed up my house and I am selling it to my next door neighbor so he can "choose his own neighbors " I love that and I can still go home once in a while lol My neighbor and I have been dear friends for 25 yrs. Good luck in all your endeavors I look forward to watching. I am 78 yrs young yes a hippie from the 60's lol When you were talking about all the trees on the cottage property I was envious my dad was in the restaurant business but he was a hell of a wood worker, Turned an old dairy barn into a two- level restaurant. thank god we don't have that anymore lol...Take care just the hippie from Michigan , Holly

    Good video brother. That shear is amazing. The cottage is looking good far. Ashley was running a saw, the boss lady shouldn’t have to. Lol

    You have come a long ways from when you first got it ! It looks less swampy and you can see the lake. May be you will be able to to do less work and more enjoying the work you have put in it. I know it sat a long time going back to nature and you to take it back before it went to far !!!

    Wow, for a few moments I thought you had got what I call a Grabber, Cutter, Chopper, Lopper 🙂However that Tree Shear seems to be a useful tool. Would be easy to go Hog Wild with it though. I know you respect trees, but they have to go to make your plan work. If they get used, as you are going to process them for Fire Wood and a lot has gone to the Mill that is great. Amazing to see the difference and your plan coming together.

    I have a TMK 200 for my 55 Hyundai on my wish list... great to see this video...
    ...and, to your point about August and 35 degrees (celcius, eh?) .. the other advantage of a tree shear... is you can conduct felling ioperations during extreme fire hazard (varies by local regulation), and not worry about chainsaws or fellerbunchers starting brush fires...

    Wow... really starting to look like a big open parking lot. You are cutting endless trees down. It used to have an awesome charming natural forested look. Now it is almost barren in comparison. It has lost much of its charm... Soon it will be just a dirt yard with a wood cabin. Is this a popular look up in Canada?

    • @workplaytv
      @workplaytv  ปีที่แล้ว

      It won’t be dirt it will be grass. Have you not seen the the storms and and the wildfires we have been getting?

    • @Coleen_West
      @Coleen_West ปีที่แล้ว

      @@workplaytv ...not really been watching the fires but I know there was some issue. I get it. But as my dad once told, "go slow" on these types of issues as they are essentially irreversible (in your lifetime at least). Look, I love this channel and especially that cottage. Just was shocked and taken aback when I saw it last. I almost didn't think it was the same place. You might not notice it, but wow, it is different. But let's see it when it is all complete. I might love it all over again! I know that in the Hampton's (NY long Island) they love that sort of look with more grass than trees and lots of people love the open space and sunshine etc. I will keep an open mind. If I don't like it I will "wag my finger at you". Welcome to social media opinions.. :)

      @@1947maco ..I just mean to compare the lack of trees and open spots. Some like that look. Just thought the treed in forrest looked great and isolated. But that is now long gone so we must embrace the Hamptons look!

    Why don't you build tree houses on the property to rent out too, obviously on other parts of the property. You'd make a killing
