Hiking California's Bridge To Nowhere

  • Hiking California's Bridge to Nowhere is one of the most popular trails in Southern California. It features a stream that you cross multiples times and ends at a bridge that was built as part of a failed road between Wrightwood and Azusa. At 10 miles this is a longer hike and takes about 5 hours for those in good shape. Avoid this trail after heavy rains and always be cautious crossing streams.

What hike are you excited for this year?

Oh man, I'm so glad you're emphasizing "Leave No Trace". It's so important and I wish more people understood that!! This looked like a great hike - the bridge was really neat. I'd totally be one of the ones bungee jumping off it on weekends! Trails near my home town (east of Toronto🇨🇦) have opened up too, and I'm really excited to get back outside. Glad we were able to connect 😊

You are braver than me, I haven't tried to Bungee jump but thinking of it makes me feel like my neck is broken haha. Have fun on the trails in Toronto- do you have a favorite?

We will either go in the Olympic National Forest (or Park) or Mt. Hood National Forest. Thanks for the reminder to Leave No Trace!!
