I love that nothing phases you and you're always willing to do the hikes, even when there's no path! You both have such enthusiasm and an appreciation for your surroundings, it's deadly. The drone footage 👏💕👏
Thank you Munich! Such kind words! I do just feel in awe and am appreciating nature more than ever before here in Ireland - thank you for your support and woo yes the drone footage does show the vast beauty of this landscape!
As an Irelander I have to compliment you guys on the quality of your vids. I am familiar with most of the Wild Atlantic Way especially Dingle and its surrounds and I have not seen a better vid to show it's splendour than yours. Keep up the great work. 👍

Hi Guys, wow this is an incredible episode. Always great competition between Mayo and Kerry. This scenery in Kerry is spectacular. Thank you showing it to us. Well done ! Kevin
Hey Kevin - lovely to hear you enjoyed this epi yay! oooh that is a tough competition between the 2 - both just absolute stunners! Thank you so much for watching :)
Tom some great drone piloting. The mountain pics were stunning. And so another chapter in life opens up with exploring without out work. How exciting and I expect daunting for you both. Your Chanel and community is growing rapidly due to your infectious outlook.👍🏻. Ps your finger nails 💅 looked fab Isi.
Ditto that! The drone footage is wonderful! I’ve really got the bug to get on the ferry for an Irish adventure when the weather warms up. I don’t know if you have ever heard of the Galway band, “The Saw Doctors” . I can recommend the tune “N17” as the perfect accompaniment as you journey around. Looking forward to your next adventure. All the best!
Hi Paul! What a lovely outlook you have - thank you for being so positive and encouraging - really lovely to read your comment :) ha and wow so pleased you like my nails! I actually had them done by the girl in our thumbnail a couple weeks back (our new irish family)- she's 8 and better than me at painting nails hah.

Hi there Larry - Its great to hear you're enjoying watching our travel series around Ireland :) We were very lucky with the weather - we seem to be experiencing an unusually sunny January this year ha! take care and next video will be out on sunday :)
Dingle was a dying fishing village and then Fungi rolled up. He made the place an overnight tourist hotspot and saved the village...hence the statue! Been out to see him on a boat. Popped up beside us all of a sudden and played the total star, showing off for the bones of an hour. They reckoned a few years ago he was at least, with a conservative estimate, 40 years old. Hi Debbie - it really is amazing isn't it - so much that we had to spread across 2 episodes! i'm so glad you got to go! Glad you had nice weather - take care :)
Thank you for another brilliant video, I love the editing and the music. Chilling on the sofa watching that has made my day...again. Stay safe and take care.
Delighted to have found your channel,I'm making plans for packing it all in and hitting the road to get away from it all with my cat Sam. Might see you on the road somewhere in Ireland soon.
Hey there John wow that would be so cool if you hit the road with your cat for an adventure! that sounds like a lot of fun! go for it!! happy travels :) Thanks for watching our channel!
@@LostInTransit thanks 🙏 guys! Teaching autistic & dyslexic primary pupils is a real vocation… but in a few years, I may follow your example. 😉 I love wild camping while fly fishing 🎣 here in North Wales 🏴… the outdoors is a free resource and so undervalued…Keep on Keepin’ on 🙏❤️
Loved this! 👌🏼 reminds me of my happy childhood holidays in West Cork. There are great walks everywhere down there but in particular a gorgeous lake called Barley lake and walk around it near Glengariff, also around Allihies there are really beautiful walks and a meditation centre nearby called Dzogchen Beara, it should be open. You might not have amazon prime but if you do (or the free trial) there’s a series about lighthouses around the coast of Ireland. It’s so interesting and you’ll pass by some of the areas where they are or where the islands are nearby.
Hiya! ooh thank you for the reccie - will note barley lake for when we are in west cork :) I like the sound of the meditation centre - will screenshot this comment for future note - will give that lighthouse series a try too
@@LostInTransit great! Enjoy! Another thought is that you might be able to get the cable car over to Dursey Island, I’m not sure how often they run but you might get lucky! It’s a bit of a scary ride but fun ☺️❤️
Ok that's it!! Enough lying-spreadeagled-on-couch-eating-pringles with my life. I'm going to visit Dingle peninsula. I like how you take your time in each area.
Hi there Thomas :) hahaha that made up laugh :D Love it ! you enjoy those pringles on the coach ha we are all partial to a crisp binge on the sofa!!I hope you enjoy Dingle :) yes we do love to travel slowly - have a great week!
@@LostInTransit ** Life update: Still on couch eating pringles. Will probly wait til my hand gets too fat to fit in the pringles tube. Seems like a natural stopping point. Quick WFV(work from van) question? I've literally just landed a fully remote job. how doable is it to work with 4g internet. Can it be relied upon in Ireland to reliably WFV
as soon as you said don't open the skylight to Tom .. knew he'd open it.. 🌧️😆 Dingle peninsula is breathtaking .. 😲💯 can't wait for more footage next week. 😎
Hahaha so true - what's he likeee. Those hail stones were massive though! aw so glad you enjoyed the shots of Dingle - yess bring on next week - there's more beauty to come!!
Yes you feel you are travelling with the two of them the way they create the video and the information on the different places is brilliant really enjoyable 😊
Thank you so much for watching and thank you for your amazing support! oooh thats good news as Tom is very into the archaeology - if you want a cringe factor you can watch our old video from portugal where we go to visit the chapel of bones haha xx
Hey Grampa! Thank you so pleased you enjoyed it! I knew you'd enjoy the archaeology - we've been to some more stone forts recently so there may be more coming up in a future epi! Love you loads!! Isabel xxxxxxx
Really enjoying all your adventures in our lovely country. I hope you will visit the north east, Mourne Mountains and the forests. Lots of quiet beaches and mountain lakes and pools to dip in. Thanks for your wonderful videos xx
Hey Reets - thank you it's really lovely to hear you're enjoying our adventures - what a beautiful country Ireland is! We must visit Mourne if we are in the North east - thank you for watching :)
I have to say the pair of you are an inspiration to the whole of the van community. You bring a beautiful light perspective to your wanderings and I'm delighted to hear you've taken the leap Becky and gone at this full-time. As a journalist, there's a wise old saying, "there's a book in everyone but that's probably where it should stay!" but not in your case. I see great things ahead for you both and once you get the Merch out there and the branding sorted out, you should both be well set to start raking in the dollars. Best of luck and if you need any assistance, just ask.
Hi Edward - What a lovely thing to say - thank you! really thank you so much for your supportive kind words - I'm so pleased i've taken the leap too! feels great to have more time to build our community here and chat with everyone and having more time to explore is amazing! Ha love your enthusiasm for the merch!! still seems surreal to us the idea of that! So pleased you're following along with us - have a great week :)
I feel we have so much to learn from the people who built such sustainable dry stone wall dwellings that have weathered 5000 years of wild Atlantic Irish coastal winds and storms. How can we not be impressed enough to explore this craft that might otherwise soon be lost if we don’t preserve and teach it to todays youth. It looked so much fun wriggling into that subterranean hidey-hole under the stone beehive dwellings. You were brave to go down there in the dark 👍#ThisGirlCan
Hiya! aw good luck with working towards your team - you will get there! or the other alternative is to do what i did for the first 4 months of traveling - work remotely from the van if you can find that kinda work - good luck and happy travels!
@@LostInTransit Thank you. Unfortunately, the job I have right now is as a housekeeper in a care home, which I so want to escape. It is something that I will definitely be working towards.
I love this channel and its great to see around Kerry which is the only county I haven't visited in any real way other than a quick visit to Killarney. Thanks a million, it's great to see your enthusiasm and how you visit the lesser seen parts. Hope you are having the time of your life. ❤
Hi there John - thank you for your positivity! Lovely to read your supportive words! We are very enthusiastic about this landscape - Kerry is def worth exploring - amazing place :)
Lovely video. Well shot and edited, very fun. Good luck to you both. One small issue I had with it, to anyone quitting your job, finishing uni, leaving school etc. Please don't jump on your laptop. Even if it's old, if not already broken it would be a godsend to someone less fortunate. Pass on the good fortune to the next person. Otherwise, keep up the good work. Look forward to seeing more of your adventures.
Unfortunately the laptop was both 10 years old and water damaged so unusable. I had already opened it up and recovered the harddrive and RAM sticks, were just having a bit of fun, with an old broken laptop. but having said that, if this is not the case i will echo this "PLEASE DONT JUMP ON YOU LAPTOP!" Glad you're enjoying the vlogs, thanks for watching
Depressed that your Ireland trip is coming to an end I loved your videos and looked forward to every Sunday, I recommend yous come over and explore the north lots of places you would love such as the Mournes and silent valley
You are a great couple, treating ireland with the love and attention you both have in your hearts, well done and 14000 welcomes. Awakening to nature will give you eternal joy.
hey Bren ha thanks so much for the wonderful supportive message :) I completely agree - I feel like these recent years I have really "awoken" to nature and have just been in awe of it all around me - it also helps that Ireland is insanely beautiful! thanks again :) Isabel

Canadian here - we are planning on renting a Van and doing Ireland this September - loving your adventure and I am getting so many ideas!! Wishing we had more time. So many places to see!
Thanks for the video. I imagine it's similar to the Isle Of Man. When I look at the temperatures it always seems warmer than most of UK. I bet it get's monster storms
Hi David! Thank you for watching :) Yes it does seem to be very mild here - I def recommend for winter time - we've had such a nice January here! Yes we have had some pretty bad storms too! We hope to go to the Isle of Man in our van too at some point :)
Amazing video Tom and Isabel. 20,000 subscribers on their way, and the Irish Tourist Board should definitely sponsor you. Stay safe. Enjoy your travels. 👏👏👏

I just found your channel on TH-cam last night and I think it’s brilliant fair play to ye now for touring all around Ireland I hope ye enjoy every minute of it. I live in Co Mayo so you passed through the county on your travels. Best of luck on your travels take care 👍👍👍
Good job guys. Luv this place. E are from Ireland & it never fails to amaze. Although everyone will say that about home. You guys captured it all the same.
I have lived in the West of Ireland for most of my life and haven't even seen a fraction of all the things I want to see on the Wild Atlantic way. Looks like a great series, looking forward to the rest of it! Maybe I'll see you guys in Clare lol.
Another great episode! Thank you. Always counting down until your uploads go live... And congratulations to Isobel for officially becoming a full time van lifer!! I'm taking my little van of the Isle of Mull (where I live) to visit the mainland for a few days. Going to loop around Glencoe and Fort William and do some hiking - can't wait for that feeling of freedom once again. Might even be inspired to pick up my camera... But no promises 😂 Have a great week!!
I was in Dingle in August and I went up the Conor pass twice and on both occasions, I could not see over the edge with the fog, ye are so jammy to get such fab weather this time of year! Isn't Kerry the best.

Hey Kane - aw Tom is editing now and just read him this - what a boost ! Thank you! Aww sorry to make you homesick Eamonn! So pleased you like the drone footage - luckily so far we seem to be having an unusually dry sunny jan ( fingers crossed)!
Beautiful! I need to spend more time in Kerry! If you visit the East Coast be sure to visit the Cooley Peninsula it's STUNNING! Slieve Foy is beautiful. Or the Tain way starting in Ravensdale you can walk to Carlingford. Also in Co. Meath Loughcrew is a lovely spot, it's an old Cairn. There's Newgrange too it's quite well known! The Rampards walk in Navan is beautiful. Co. Armagh Slieve Gullion is amazing as is Navan Fort. Enjoy Ireland!
Hey Valerie :) We actually have been in Donegal and have a video of it on our channel - we were completely taken by Donegal - amazing place and I am def going back some day!
Great episode, really enjoyed it. We will definitely have to go back to Ireland to explore the Dingle Peninsula. Thanks for sharing your travels with us. Good idea to stop off in the AirBnB for a bit, it looked lovely 😀👍

Great video guys, just recently subscribed and loving it. Ireland is a magnificent country with some spectacular areas well i have to say that as part of my family come from County Wicklow but again a fabulous vid.
Isabel and Tom. Just enjoyed yet another episode of your travels or should I say lack of them. After my good wishes for fair weather last week, methinks they didn't mature. Blessing in a way on reflection as you've both had a week to relax in a little well deserved comfort.👏 Had to have been difficult for Isabel to finally give up her job she's put so much into over the last year... All that said, you got back out on the road and have to say you're wonderful exponents for the beauty of the south west. Great flying and awesome footage. Loved the music accompaniment too. Pity so many places closed during winter time but you're certainly making the best of everything as always... Stay safe and safe travelling to you both..🚐👏👏☘

Wow amazing video.I live in Tralee which is not a million miles away from where ye shot the video and I am embarrassed to say I haven't been to a lot of the places in your footage but after watching I will definitely be visiting.
Hey Geoff - thank you for watching!! AW jealous you got to the Blasket Islands! we couldnt make it there as there apparently wasn't any ferry crossings this time of year - gives us a reason to come baaack - not that we need one haha - have a great week :)
Star wars was filmed on Skellig Michael island , you'll see it from the west side of Valentia Island.A lot of the cast and crew frequented the Moorings pub in Portmagee, which is only 10 minutes from the Kerry cliffs, another must see.
Ooh nice no wonder its a film set - such an in credible place - will note the pub for future ref! We spotted Skellig island from the top of mount brandon - was lucky it was a clear day! ( next weeks vlog) :)
We've driven the Ring of Kerry from Kinsale before and did a fabulous whale watching trip out of Baltimore but we didn't get over as far as the Dingle peninsula. It looks stunning. Thanks for the heads up - I've added it to my wishlist 😊👍
It is such a shame that there seem to be no whale boats this time of year, that is something we would have loved to do. Yeah add it to the wishlist, we are already waiting till we next go back! haha

Thank you Tom!! Really lovely to read positive feedback like this :)
This is fabulous, guys! You two are doing my homeland great justice... Keep up the good work & thanks all the way from North Wales 😉👍❤️
Hi Eoin - thank you so much - what a compliment - so pleased we are doing it justice! Have a great week !
@@LostInTransit thanks 🙏 guys! Teaching autistic & dyslexic primary pupils is a real vocation… but in a few years, I may follow your example. 😉 I love wild camping while fly fishing 🎣 here in North Wales 🏴… the outdoors is a free resource and so undervalued…Keep on Keepin’ on 🙏❤️
Brilliant videos of our beautiful country keep them coming 👌
Thank you so much Mickey! We will keep them coming ! :)
Love your videos, always makes me smile, you two are so sound and down to earth, food for the soul 💚💚💚
So pleased we can make you smile Simon! Have a great week
Dingle peninsula is breathtaking .. 😲💯
can't wait for more footage next week. 😎
Hahaha so true - what's he likeee. Those hail stones were massive though! aw so glad you enjoyed the shots of Dingle - yess bring on next week - there's more beauty to come!!
Both of you are living life. I envy you both in a good way!
Yes you feel you are travelling with the two of them the way they create the video and the information on the different places is brilliant really enjoyable 😊
AW thank you Rosemary !
You guys are amazing, love the spirit. Stunning scenery. Love your channel, you guys and Kinging-It are my favorites British couples
Aww thanks, we love kinging it to. Honoured that we are up there with them ☺️ and glad you’re enjoying the videos
Truly loved this weeks video. I’m fascinated by prehistoric archeology - so that was a nice treat. Thanks as alwsys
Thank you so much for watching and thank you for your amazing support! oooh thats good news as Tom is very into the archaeology - if you want a cringe factor you can watch our old video from portugal where we go to visit the chapel of bones haha xx
@@LostInTransit Saw it! The TH-cam algorithm must have been blowing up because it knows I want to see VanLife and Time Team - and this was perfect.
Kerry is magic. Can't beat Ireland when the sun shines.
Also check out some more of the ring forts if you can. So many still intact !
Heyy Paul! it is magic isn't it!! especially when the suns out!! yess we are def still on the hunt for more ringforts! Just no more souterrains lol
.....Enjoyed it all, especially the dry stone buildings - absolutely fascinating. love Grandpa
Another great vlog guys. The drone footage is savage. Up the Kingdom 💪😄
Hi Brian - ha glad you enjoy the drone shots - i think they really do give a perspective of the vastness of the beauty here!
Thanks, lost in transit, that was lovely, great footage.
Thanks Jim! Lovely to read this :)
That walk certainly brought colour to yours cheeks.great video guys and the weather for January, couldn't be bad to it,could you.ta
haha yes it was good to get out in that January sun - you can't beat a winter walk ! Thanks for watching!
Congratulations. You're living the dream. I'm working towards being able to quit the crappy day job and go off travelling.
Hiya! aw good luck with working towards your team - you will get there! or the other alternative is to do what i did for the first 4 months of traveling - work remotely from the van if you can find that kinda work - good luck and happy travels!
@@LostInTransit Thank you. Unfortunately, the job I have right now is as a housekeeper in a care home, which I so want to escape. It is something that I will definitely be working towards.
This is great, keep it up! Most of all, enjoy your trip and spread joy :)
Thank you - great advice!
This is without doubt the best channel I've found on TH-cam, really enjoying the videos of my beautiful country. Slàinte ☘
Hey Kane woweee thanks so much we are so pleased to have you here!!!
I had already opened it up and recovered the harddrive and RAM sticks, were just having a bit of fun, with an old broken laptop. but having said that, if this is not the case i will echo this "PLEASE DONT JUMP ON YOU LAPTOP!"
Glad you're enjoying the vlogs, thanks for watching
Depressed that your Ireland trip is coming to an end I loved your videos and looked forward to every Sunday, I recommend yous come over and explore the north lots of places you would love such as the Mournes and silent valley

I was in Dingle in August and I went up the Conor pass twice and on both occasions, I could not see over the edge with the fog, ye are so jammy to get such fab weather this time of year! Isn't Kerry the best.

Tom your editing skills are unbelievable and it motivates me to learn knowing you're just teaching yourself.
Hey Kane - aw Tom is editing now and just read him this - what a boost ! Thank you! You could def learn - I think the best way to learn is to have a go and try it out for yourself and practice practice - theres also so much on youtube like tutorials - also toms tip is to try the basics first and dont overcomplicate things at first ha :) Thanks for watching!
Thank you for showcasing west Kerry in such a wonderful and magical way!! Enjoy!! Johnny ☘️🧙♂️🇮🇪

Hey Lenny, So glad you're enjoying the videos and thank you for subscribing. Glad you enjoyed the video
Stay safe and safe travelling to you both..🚐👏👏☘
Hi JJ - thank you for your kind words - and thank you for your understanding about my job - you're so right it was really hard to say goodbye but on to the next chapter :) So pleased you enjoyed the music and drone shots - Tom will be pleased to hear that as he puts a lot of work into them!
Yeah add it to the wishlist, we are already waiting till we next go back! haha
