I think the hangovers have clouded our judgement slightly, she was actually really nice about it. We were just grumpy, we have had only one bad interaction the whole time in Ireland and it wasn't her. Yeah the water is certainly chilly, it does get easier the more you do it though

She really wasn't grumpy, I think that's our hangovers taking over. So we're rewatching your videos as we cover the ground. Anyway, just a note on Keem Beach on Achill Island in this video. Next time you're in the mood for a movie and don't want to re-watch the fan edit of the 3 Hobbit movies on your hard drive, try "The Banshees of Inisherin" with Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson. The island of Inisherin, from the movie title, is fictional, but some of the filming took place on Achill Island. With a low tide on Keel beach, you can traverse left hand side of the cliffs dry footed and enter some of the most amazing caves :) I miss Mayo, I lived in Westport for a year. Thanks for the video guys, Godspeed!
love yer energy guys ,I've seen a fare share of that coast line myself a lot of the times via work .which was great but could be tough locations to hump equipment across .ye have given me mind to revisit .all the best on yer travels

We would love to come back and see it again in summer. I think if it was sunny though it would take us twice as long to complete the WAW, every beach we drive past is so beautiful.
From a health perspective you're doing the best thing EVER .... Walks on the coast / beach are substantially good for your health..not to mention the cold water.. enjoy!
We do try to film the down days and work ext. This week all of those days were on the days that were lost on the card so we just filmed the three days after. Luckily we haven't had any bad experiences since being in Ireland (touch wood) but we will include it when it inevitable happens

Unfortunately we had to leave Achill, partly due to the bad weather warnings but also because we had arranged to meet up with family on the other side of Ireland. I cant believe we missed Minaun heights though it looks amazing, next time for sure.
Just stumbled across this, will definitely have to check out some of yere other videos. In many ways this is the best time to do the wild atlantic way, less traffic, less people, the colors and nature look even better in autumn. Hope ye have had a fantastic stay here!
We were worried that it would be too wild in winter, but it was the best decision we made, it is so quiet, everyone we meet is a real local and the wildness just adds to the whole experience

Great video, spot on in every way. I appreciate it's a lot of work to put all this footage together, I know how much time it takes. I just got back from the hills of Glencar, and lucky enough to visit the loughs in Connemara. Doo Lough, NaFooey and the fjord that ends at Aasleagh Falls are rugged, but stunningly beautiful. Ireland has so much to offer, it's impossible to take it all in. The coastline is amazing, but inland places are equally so. Yes, weather can be bracing at time, but the changeable weather is what creates those dramatic skylines.
It does take a long time, especially as I don't really know what I'm doing to learning on the fly. Ireland is stunning, I'm sure the inerds are just as nice. I think we will have to come back in the future and visit further from the coast

Im not sure we are going to make it this time around, we have to be a bit clever with our time in the EU now because Brexit. We are already planing a return visit though, hoping to see more of the east and inland Ireland. We want to do a big tour of the 6 Celtic Nations!
Great vlog, love your pronunciation of Achill, it's Ah-hill not a-keel, if you've ever seen the movie " The banshees of Innisherin " ? A lot of the film was filmed on that beech and the two story house in front of the beech, loving your videos , thank you for sharing
Great stuff guys. I did part of that route a couple of months back. Fair dues for the icy dip. Bet it sobered you up fast😄. Mayo was the hardest hit county way back in time with the famine and emigration and that many parts never recovered as can be seen by the vast open spaces. Keem beach in Achill(pronounced Acill) is one of the most beautiful beaches in the whole country. Don't miss Dogs bay beach in Roundstone connemara(you may be past this by now). Keep up the good work.

Great video, spot on in every way. I appreciate it's a lot of work to put all this footage together, I know how much time it takes. I just got back from the hills of Glencar, and lucky enough to visit the loughs in Connemara. Doo Lough, NaFooey and the fjord that ends at Aasleagh Falls are rugged, but stunningly beautiful. Ireland has so much to offer, it's impossible to take it all in. The coastline is amazing, but inland places are equally so. Yes, weather can be bracing at time, but the changeable weather is what creates those dramatic skylines.
It does take a long time, especially as I don't really know what I'm doing to learning on the fly.
Ireland is stunning, I'm sure the inerds are just as nice. I think we will have to come back in the future and visit further from the coast

Im not sure we are going to make it this time around, we have to be a bit clever with our time in the EU now because Brexit. We are already planing a return visit though, hoping to see more of the east and inland Ireland. We want to do a big tour of the 6 Celtic Nations!

Great vlog, love your pronunciation of Achill, it's Ah-hill not a-keel, if you've ever seen the movie " The banshees of Innisherin " ? A lot of the film was filmed on that beech and the two story house in front of the beech, loving your videos , thank you for sharing
Great stuff guys. I did part of that route a couple of months back. Fair dues for the icy dip. Bet it sobered you up fast😄. Mayo was the hardest hit county way back in time with the famine and emigration and that many parts never recovered as can be seen by the vast open spaces. Keem beach in Achill(pronounced Acill) is one of the most beautiful beaches in the whole country. Don't miss Dogs bay beach in Roundstone connemara(you may be past this by now). Keep up the good work.
It has been added to the want to go list. We still haven't passed it yet as we paused the trip while we headed over to Dublin last week. Thanks for the recommendation.
