I started making mass queens against the computer a little bit just to practice and out of curiosity after I first watched these videos, then I realized that’s dumb, and went back to practicing two base roach timing instead
@HumanRevised That's pretty much all of it. But you did forget about micro. Especially in early game attacks, learning to micro your units is important. It's things like pulling weak units out of attack, kiting, and positioning that can win most early games in the low leagues.
Thats not clicking, its him using his keyboard for hotkeys. Usually I also spam it before I have the right amount of minerals, so that it starts to build as soon as it starts.
This is actually really smart. I've thought about mechanics in SC2 a bit and to me it feels like having poor mechanic skill would be like trying to play Tekken by moving your character with R1 and R2 (weird example but my point is most players play very, very ineffectively and therefor their macro sucks, me definitely included).
@LordGilgamesh01 At low levels the reason people have time to execute good micro and strategy is likely BECAUSE they haven't learned the basic macro side of the game. It's a simple trade-off. We haven't learn the division of attention which is required to micro and macro at the same time. And pro-game casts always focus on the exciting battles so people get the impression it's the most important part of the game, so it's the part they try to learn.
Sorry if I sound like an idiot in advance, but do the queens require the creep under them to move around. Do they lose health or something if they don't have that.
I am silver and i don´t even know the term mechanics. I only know being six to ten pooled, bunkerrushed and so on... is it how well you use your shortcuts?
@lepicklez You don't understand how APM works. It's based on how quick you can execute useful actions. My APM as Z is the same as my APM as the other races and 100 apm doesn't get you anywhere. Being good at the game gets you places.
destiny is right, but he said that the lower players dont even need to scout... yet he mentioned mid way through that if the protoss did a dt rush he would have been fucked and he would need to scout that before hand :S
dude the guy just didn't know what he was doing at all. most people who play protoss know that you can NOT support 6 gates off of 1 base and it took him forever to get those 4 gates up. his 4th gate finished around 8 minutes into the game. that's nearly 2 minutes slower than most other people playing toss

I kinda have to agree with Catz on many things, it is Catz right? Anyway, he is saying that some gold leaguers are really good but they lack mechanics. YES, that is absolutely true. I mean, they have great micro in battles, strategy, and plans but hurt with macro and multitasking.

i think the reason people lose to this strat is because they don't know to counter this Protoss: HT+chargelot Terran: Ghosts+rauders or ravens or something like that Zerg: MASS QUEENS!

In this game queen has only a Ground range amount of 3.. in the new version its 5.. so its easier now
