- Path of Exile 2 recently gave us some hands-on time with the Witch class. The Path of Exile 2 Witch gameplay is a bit different than in the original as there are two variations to the character. There's the Sorceress and the Witch. This time, we jumped in as the Witch to try out the corpse-reviving menace and we are hooked. Path of Exile 2 can't come fast enough.

Things he didnt bring up with the couch co-op: Any menuing can be done by both players at any time.
- If 1 player is afk or in a menu, the other person playing will drag them along with them.
- Each player can instantly trade items between eachother with a single button press.
- Many skills can combo with both players, for example, both players can hit the monk bell for extra damage.
This is so awesome. Game nights would be so fun.
The boss at 2:52 is insane. That is a level 30 boss looking way more impressive than all of the existing D4 bosses. Blizzard really need to step up their game

Nah, disagreed, it's another unispired clone of "STATIONARY BOSS THAT TAKES WHOLE ROUND/HALF ROUND AREA", nothing interesting, or inventive, simliar to Belial or it's predecesor Kologarn in Ulduar WoW raid. Great animations though.

Agree on point that you don't need to see previews anymore, we already know it's gonna be best arpg most of us dreamt of since D2 times, basically D3 that never happened. I'm convinced already, just give me ability to experience it and give my monetary kudos to the devs.

Coming from a players with multiple thousands of hours in the Diablo series, gotta say, this is going to be my Diablo IV head cannon.
It just is so much better on so many levels to what Blizzard comes out with these days.
Poe 1 itself was far beyond Diablo since Diablo 2. Path of exile 2 will rewrite the arpg history no doubt.

Do You need to follow a path as in D 4 or are classes different?
Classes are just a "themes", every class can do anything. Want a 2hand sword wielding melee Sorceress, or a spellcasting bulky barbarian? u can mix and match to your hearts content, or whatever is to your liking. Thats why Theorycrafters love the game so much, cuz its a giant playground of ideas/mechanics/interactions for us.

@@reddevilkev Yes there is almost endless customization when it comes to making builds in PoE. Every class in PoE 2 will also have 3 ascendancy classes to choose from. For example the witch might have a Necromancer Ascendancy, one focusing on chaos damage/curses and one focusing on bone skills.
It would be cool if the bone constructs were triggered by hitting a boss as well since many bosses don't spawn adds.
Minions have great single target, but bad clear. They added the bone contructs to help clear. That's why they won't let them spawn on bosses, because it defeats their point of helping with clear, but not making minions insane single target even more insane.
Comparing POE 2 to D4 is like comparing Quantum Physics to kindergarten arithmetic.

Looks amazing the atmosphere just blends in everything. The gameplay looks so much fun, and it looks like it is running so smooth. What more could you want from an ARPG? D4 just stutters behind this, the franchise isn't moving forward they have taken Diablo not even backwards but to a side road where it has no place being. That's why people are frustrated because Diablo just isn't what he once was. Blizzard has a team that's to worried about being political. The original team had a vision that's why people loved the sequel because it was leaps and bounds passed the first. Diablo 3 was like a watered down version of 2 they made bad choices to worried about nickel and diming people.
I'm so hyped for PoE2!
This will be my game of the year for the next decade!

yes, in poe 1 it was called shadow it was focused on poison/assasinations with crit and traps, it will be in poe 2 too, there called assasin, but we will propably need to wait for it

It was originally going to be a closed beta but they rebranded it to "early access" so we will have to see.

Cosmetics and skill effects + stash tabs and supporter packs that gives you store points + some cosmetics. Stash tabs are on sale every 3 weeks. Use 40$ on stash tabs and you have stash tabs for a long time. You have 4 stash tabs when you start the game.

The only disappointing part for me is the fact they had to go back on their initial promises to link PoE1 and 2 content...

You still have to socket skills and supports, but in a specialized menu! Now you can freely change gear without worrying about socket links or colors

Just to let you know they've said its probably going to be 8 or 9 on early access launch and possibly only 1-2 ascendancy classes per character.

The early access in November will have 8/12 with quite a few ascendancies missing initially. However, there will be enough to "fill every archetype" the game director said.
The missing classes and ascendancies will be added throughout the early access period.
Blizz releases expa in Oct cuz they know when poe2 starts beta in Nov they will loose tons of players.
And ppl will eat up that expansion for 90 bucks aswell, thats the sad part. Especially since poes free

PoE the one who killed my Diablo 3 runs, and that time Diablo 3 was on its peaked. Now PoE2 will ruined Diablo 4 but not Last Epoch for me.

Except for death animations of foes that does not seem to react with which skill they are being killed with it looks awesome.
It does for ailments for example, frozen enemy shatters, ignited enemy burns to death etc. Not sure how far they will go outside of ailment death effects

Not entirely. The early access in November was initially called closed beta. Only recently have they started calling it early access.
The best part of POE2 is, it is not an open world game. Because if it is, look what happened to Diablo 4; one hit world bosses.
No doubt will be the best ARPG for hardcore players.

Why do the devs even show classes when every class is going to be able to use every skill. It's so dumb.
Class identity and archetypes are still a thing in PoE. You can play any skill you want, but its feasibility is limited by class/ascendancy synergy.
Because there is more to classes in poe than the skills each class can use.

So far yes, but iam pretty sure they gonna drop a bomb in the future announcing them not beeing genderlocked anymore.
Yes, the class will be genderlocked as characters get story, voicelines that assumes things, thats why we dont have customization of how our character looks like, it will propably not be changed
