On my opinion in Ultralight Beam, it was a kinda of when the cover is much better than the original, he really fixed that mess, even when he was a bit naughty with the lyrics, I must admit, but sound is amazing XD

I recently started listening to one direction. As a 36 year old I missed that train growing up as I am older. However, there last Album "Made in The AM" is a great pop album with some rock elements.
I am 46 and Harry Styles won me over with his last album. I am really looking forward to his new. I will look into the last 1D albun now. Thanks for the tip.

I’m in my 50s and couldn’t stand 1D until a Story of My Life. Made in the AM was an awesome album! Love it and the boys... missed it too but never toured last album so.. 🤷🏻♀️
yeah, you should check out 1D but live, i think their chaotic energy was something special and worth loving for. watch their ever last performance of history on the x-factor (where they are from, if you didn't know). it's very good and kinda emotional so you could get the idea of who they were as a band
If u will begin with one direction content believe me you will get addicted to them not just for their music but also for their personalities I think one direction get worldwide fame because of two things music and unique personalities u will get what I mean if you watch one direction interviews
I see you're getting A LOT of recommendations here but I have to say that you've gotta react to his cover of Ultralight Beam! His vocals in that are just !!! That one and Girl Crush (at the BBC), are probably the best covers he's done. Would love to see you react to Girl Crush too.
And then, Landslide and Leather and Lace with Stevie Nicks at the troubadour. So so good and for once Harry was the one fangirling haha, he was so overwhelmed but totally did the songs justice.
And for live performances of his own songs Kiwi at the Late Late show and Medicine in St. Paul really shows how magnetic he is on stage.
You should watch Harry's cover of Kanye's Ultralight Beam. I think he only sang it once ???
But it was sooooo good, that arrangement was exquisite.

You have to watch some of his performances from his world tour! This man was born to be on stage. I could recommend shows all day but just go straight to Medicine live at St Paul's, probably one of his most iconic performances.
And yes that is Harry's band, they are all still with him.

If you’re reacting to One Direction you should definitely check out them singing Where Do Broken Hearts Go live on the X Factor. It’s personally one of my all time favorite performances and one of their best songs.

This was them actually recording the album at Abbey Road (where the Beatles recorded) It's from his Documentary Making the Album. I have a recording of the whole thing....(it was on Apple music but I didn't have it, but 1D fans can get about anything ;) It's really amazing to watch him talk about how they made the album. He shows them all in Jamaica and the recording and them working on the songs. Let me know if you'd like to view it. - Mary And yes, please review 1D's past songs, especially their last album "Made In The AM" And they have pretty cool music videos to go with their songs over the years.

I also missed the whole One Direction thing (too old) and first heard Harry's Graham Norton performance of Sign of the Times that you reviewed. My reaction was pretty much the same as yours, amazing voice. I am now a huge Harry fan and ended up falling into the 1D black hole on TH-cam. You mentioned wanting to listen to some 1D songs to gauge their voices, then I'd recommend later stuff including If I Could Fly (never performed live, but Harry's end harmonies are amazing), Fools Gold (again not done live) Infinty and Drag me Down (watch both live). I agree with other comments, you should watch Behind the Album video in full too. A real insight into Harry behind the scenes. And yes, also Kiwi on the Late Late Show. Rock star!

Some notable songs from it - If I Could Fly (Although it's a slower song but the vocals and lyrics tears me up), Infinity, End of the Day, Drag me down, Love you Goodbye, History (the lyrics, the video, it just has a different meaning to the fans), AM, Perfect.

This song was one of the first that really drew my attention and love when I did my first listen through of his album when it came out. Loved the sound, the lyrics, his vocals, everything about it. Was really excited when I saw the notification come through that you did a reaction to this particular song. I definitely recommend you try some One Direction at some point, especially off their last three albums. I'm old enough to be their mother, but they still rank among my favorite music to listen to. Not the typical, boyband pop sound, and I loved that about them. And watching their old live stuff is still a delight to watch, especially watching this young man in particular and the way he would work their crowds, whether he was singing or talking to them. Harry is a born entertainer. At any rate, it's so enjoyable watching someone enjoying Harry Styles as much as so many of us do.

The entire first album is played in studio (this is one part) on an Apple special. It shows the making of the album and creating the songs in Jamaica. Interviews including how his band formed (one member worked for a pizza place before getting the call) - a must watch on Apple Music!
You should watch the Behind the Album (for his self titled one). It has a studio version of every song and you get to see the process of it. If you already love Harry, you’ll love him way more when you see him just being creative 🤩
Ooh I think you're gonna enjoy Four and Made in the AM in terms of 1D albums. You might even enjoy their Midnight Memories album which is another really good one
I’m not even just saying this because I’m a fan but honestly Harry is the most down to earth kind and caring celebrity I’ve ever known. He respects women, he’s kind to every one no matter what and he involves fans in concerts by having conversations with them individually during the concert 💗

You should definitely check out the behind the album documentary for his debut solo album. Not only will you find more of these live in studio sessions but you'll also get to know him more, his personality, his vision for this album. Also, he had these sessions in the Abbey Road Studios!
Another vote for a reaction to Harry's cover of Ultralight Beam! I think it's one of the best things he's ever done, amazing vocals, great arrangement and it's very different to Kanye's original version. Very interesting work across genres!
He toured with that band and he wrote the entire album with the guitar player. I love your take on them as a band not just Harry.

Also, he chose each member of his band because they could each play multiple instruments. He says they inspire him to be a better musician. His lead guitarist was a drummer first, and he’s an excellent guitarist.

Also, I love that you keep mentioning his band. He tends to try to keep himself surrounded with the same people. His manager was his best friend before he was his manager. He’s close to the entire family. Then there’s someone on his team named Ben Winston, who’s daughter is Harry’s god daughter. The videographers from when he was in 1D? His son is Harry’s god son. He’s seriously wise beyond his years. A lot of people have said that he kind of just has this gravitational pull when you’re near him. ♥️

If you're gonna do one direction, you should listen to "walking in the wind" Harry co wrote the song and it's heavily influenced by paul simon's graceland sound.
You should really watch his Behind The Album if you’re really interested in seeing him in the studio, i promise you, you won’t regret it. That was in London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios by the way. He wrote all the songs in his album & he chose to do it in Jamaica. Oh man, i’m getting excited just telling you about it. Regarding the band, they’ve been his band since going solo. Mitch (the long haired one) & Harry are now best of friends & the story of how he became part of Harry’s band is quite interesting. Also, he never played a guitar while he was in One Direction. Please watch BTA.

It wasn't the last tour they did, but gives you a taste of what their concerts were really like. Very different to what people think of as Boybands.
