There's nothing like being there when the audience's energy, and the performers' energy, come together and suddenly everyone has moved to some other....place? plane? something? together, and it all means more and the sound gets better and the band kicks it up and the crowd feels it and hands it back to the band and...just...argh. I've gotten to where I much prefer buying/listening to the live/performance versions of songs I love, over the studio versions.
