I love the way she's featuring her improved dance skills. Every piece of this video has been done before: the dance studio setting (hung up, dancing on my own), writhing on a pile of dancers (all the lovers) , the long takes on solo performance, the minimalism (single ladies), but it doesn't feel like a boring re-tread - it feels like Dua having a pop girlie rite of passage. The camerawork is also fluid and fierce.

She basically fused her moves onto Shakira and Jlo 's. Noticed that and the rhythm also has some thriller vibes.

Dua has been unfairly receiving backlash or being read for not being innovative. However, big artists are actually releasing the same songs over again or using the same overused beats (like Espresso for example). Now, in hindsight, people should acknowledge that Houdini is a masterpiece in terms of production and a great way to bridge the gap for Future Nostalgia. Aside from that, she’s been caring to commit to the performances, music videos, performances, etc. like no other artist these days. Yet so, she’s still under so much scrutiny.

Maybe this needs more listening but it certainly doesn't grab me the way many of the tracks on future nostalgia did. I didn't find the groove as instantly infectious and the melody didn't grab me the way some of the last album did. Just my $0.02 - I'm sure countless others will love it

It sounds so new but nostalgic at the same time. It has a contrasting mysterious dark continuous melody with upbeat layers and vocals. It sounds "cool" and "edgy". Very coherent in all of her songs. She has that mystery to some of her newer ones with the darker layer. She does well with synths. I hope she carries on with synths. I really enjoyed listening to this. Its very powerful!

I love this song! I feel it's a great start to her third album. I love the 80's synths. I love the club after-hours vibe it gives and the psychedelic rhythm. So unique, fresh, and modern. The choreography coordinates really well with the music. I can't wait for this new era of hers!
