Yes, a stock inner rod will work with V1 and V2. V3 does need longer inner rods for that 15mm engagement. Swapped my 2’s for a 3 and found this out after I bought extra OEM inners
Any size wheel would work with the kit in general, but optimally for the GT86 chassis you want as much inside clearance as possible so that you can clear the frame rails etc on lock, but it sounds as if you clearance is more due to the wheel size (diameter) not the offset? When testing we used a 18x9 +12 wheel for most of our bolt on angle kit testing to get the most amount of lock.
Great work Team
Should probably mention stock Inner tie rod/ barely reach the 15mm thread engagement
What inner tierods are u using now
@@coleallan185I was using stock inner but I just threw the extended inners in

Great product! Good work guys, though are there any plans at GK Tech to make a version compatible with the BRZ aluminium knuckles??
Thanks dude! Unfortunately no plans to, however you can convert to the steel knuckle and use our angle kit though.
Hi gktech!
Other than coilovers, my front end is completely stock. Will I need the longer inner tie rods for this install?
Nope, in that case, you can install just the bolt on angle kit as is and not need the inner tie rod ends.
@ Thank you so much! I appreciate the info!
I red that its not compatible with the ZD8 Brz alluminium knuckles, why ?
The knuckles are completely different. You have to get a first gen knuckle or gr86
@@lawrencesalanga8470 Okay thanks ! will do 👍
How much angle does this add with everything else stock. You said 60 degree with other stuff. How much by itself?
There are a lot of variable such as general setup, wheel offset, clearance, alignment etc but the brackets themselves can support around 60degrees.
I installed these by I have great clearance issues with my wheels, what are the best wheel spec to run to not hit the chassis/sway bar on full lock?

Does this fit 2023 GR86?
Sure does 🤙
Does putting this kit on make the wheels push past the fenders?
17x9 +35 Enkei rpf1 are the wheels in question.
Adding this steering angle kit will not change where the wheels sit in terms of offset, it does however move the pickup point of the tie rod end.
@@gktech awesome!
is this a S.W.T.Y.B.A.L.L.S. 2.0?
Haha! This is indeed the 2.0 upgraded, S.W.T.I.E.R.B.A.L.L.S version.
