  • If you made a drinking game out of how many times I said 'Impressed', you might have a buzz by the time this video is over. This is a quick walk-around and take-down video to review our new tent. A more in-depth review will be coming as this year rolls along. Thanks for watching!!

I missed it being set up. Hope it was easy to do. Great camping ahead

It is easy to set up. The Overland has added weight because of the included heavy-duty stakes. I think the fabric might be a little thicker too. The bag is huge and we put a couple foldable mats in as well as a moving blanket for floor protection. Check out our video “TN and VA, Oh what a week” for what it takes to set up.
We very much appreciate your watching and commenting!!

Great video - any issues with fully sealing up the front doors?

Hey G! Thank you watching and commenting! It is a good question. We have not had any problems with the doors. They have kept the weather out every time we have used the tent. I am actually a nut for liking to camp in inclement weather. We have not done that yet due to scheduling, but the construction and materials Gazelle uses lead me to believe that the tent would do well.
Thank you again for watching and having a great question!

@@castironbackroads1447 Thanks for the quick reply. I am planning to order one and had seen where some have mentioned issues with the doors sealing up where the zipper meets the Velcro and sometimes leaves a small gap where bugs may enter?

@@G-ew9hv We haven't had any issues yet with the doors. We also use Thermacell repellants to help keep mosquitos away. We don't have food in the tent so bugs have not been an issue. I have seen a small gap at the bottom but always work to get it sealed as soon as possible. Most products these days have detractors. It is good to do all your homework before making a big purchase. For us, the positives outweigh the negatives.

I 100% agree with the lack of toggles being a missed opportunity. My old Wawona 6 had them which makes opening the fly up a breeze.
I have the regular orange T4 plus but wish i got the green Overland Edition.
Im coming from a Northface Wawona 6 (first gen) which i love, but takes a month to set up. But when its up its very nice. The Gazelle was surprisingly easy. I set it up as soon as it came in and then my wife wanted to do it when she got home so we did it again an hour later. Its an awesome tent.

Wow very impressed as well this looks really nice and easy set up and take down. Agree with something added to bring back the curtain (?) differently. Apple Pie is american oh yes beer and burgers! We do love Cheesecake thought its our favorite! Great review that looks awesome!

Thank you for watching! We really love this tent. It is big and heavy but the material begs to be challenged by a rainstorm. Very thick. I think the toggle idea will be tried at some point to hold up the panels on the screen room. More adventures are coming this Labor Day weekend in the style of our Boone trip! Take care! We have been following your 18 day adventure and look forward to the next episode!
