I love seeing Dalya’s collection and hearing your opinions about it. It seemed like you were having fun too. This is a great idea! It’s fun to hear the dialogue about the gender aspect of fragrance.
I definitely approve of ranking each other's favorite perfumes in certain collections. But, more so I approve of friends having fun and discussing perfume. Something very classy or civilized if those are the descriptives I'm looking for? Folk are quite passionate about their perfume and collecting, almost to the point of being 'uptight' or too serious about it. So, it's very refreshing and encouraging to see friends with good chemistry share their enthusiasm for this beloved hobby we share. Too much misery in the world today! But hey, at least there's still friendship and quality perfume !!! 😃
Yes, MOAR please! I'd love to see more of Dalya's impressive collection, and it was fun to see Sebastian's ranking. Great list! I have that vintage Bandit and it is indeed glorious. Vintage can be a hit or miss, but when it's a hit, it's usually a wow. P.S. As soon as I saw Dalya, I hit the "Like" button.
Aramis was my Dad's scent of choice as well. I remember sneaking splashes before church. When I turned 13 he gave me a bottle. Amazing how powerful scents can be with evoking memories. Great Video!
Love your videos with Dalya! You should do your Top10 vintage gems. My favorite leather fragrance was a no name variation (Dilis No.23) on Cerutti Image Woman theme, featuring wonderful charcoal accord and some other strange notes, perfectly blended. The original Cerutti Image Woman is my second favorite and Cuir Amethyste Armani - #3 favorite. I am a fan of birch tar+coriander combo.
Loved this video and I love when you guys collaborate in videos. You guys are always so fun to watch together, you can tell how excited she was for this video, she’s glowing. I love how you guys do not always agree on the same fragrance, in fact, a lot of the fragrances you guys either disagree or get different notes on your skin, it just oozes authenticity and that’s important to me as a viewer because it shows you’re not just putting scents on here to boost/hype them but sharing your unbiased thoughts with the viewer and when you guys disagree or debate on a scent you do it in a very fun way lol often making little jokes, poking fun at each other and you not only don’t get upset but you laugh it off and give it right back and are genuinely just having a fun time, which makes it very fun for us to watch as viewers!
Yes, more rankings, puh-leeze! Oooh, Kouros! A complex, butch fragrance in all the best ways. And Lord, how many folks have I offended with that juice! Haven't worn it in a while. Will have to dig out my decant. And yes! Do a comparo of the vintage v. current formulations of Bandit. Would love to hear the differences. Fun video, mahalo!
Hey Guys, Really interesting video great that Sebastian ranks his guests fragrances instead of the other way round more of these videos in the future. I love noir patchouli. Cheers
Always delight to see dalya , both of you have a fantastic dynamic! Fun , great vibes and knowledge all in one place ☺ And unique video ideas and choices are so refreshing to see! Fantastic as always.
Love leather frags. Great collaboration guys. Kouros vintage is amazing. Farmacia is an incredibly interesting brand with its history. Great list. Piguet's Bandit👍
@@InstantKaarma the sinthetic molecules are sometimes cheaper if not in the most cases. For example Blue DE Chanel EDT has lots of "quality" ingriedients but the procentage of Eau de Toilette is on the lower scale thus the lack of performance but the quality is there and the making price is low + packaging + marketing and still dose not explain the niche price tag. Sorry fo the long massage
@@InstantKaarma yeah but Creed is niche with higher quality ingriedients but for me still doesn't justify the price tag. You can find really good cheap designers and really cheap artistic niches if you look hard enough, but each with his/her own nose. Nice debating with you. Take care
I love watching your collaboration videos! There is something so cozy and magical going on between the two of you. There’s a naughtiness in Dalia which I Adore 🥰... Thank you both 🙏🏻, Lionel.
Yes, I definitely would love to see more videos of you ranking her scents. Really hoping you guys do another one. Not sure what her wardrobe is like aside from loving patchouli lol (love your patch collab video as well) maybe a floral video? (Tuberose, Jasmine, Lily). A green video? (Scents like Chanel 19, Diptyque L’ombre Dans L’eau?) or ranking her citrus scents? (again, not sure if she’s a citrus fan and has citrus heavy scents in her wardrobe?)
Thoroughly enjoyed the video! Would like to see more such videos. Great seeing the vintages come out and hearing your opinions on all the fragrances of course.
Love the concept! I have a couple bottles of vintage aramis as well, have always considered it unisex, also half a bottle of vintage cabochard, and patch flash. Hermes didn't make the list? Caleche Soie, Caleche, Kelly Caleche, Bel Ami, Bel Ami Vetiver. Vintage EL Aliage, Jolie Madame.
Great list, and your chemistry is just priceless. I'm sad to say it but that one doesn't seem to be a vintage Kouros. It lacks the silver plate, but nonetheless it seems to smell different from the newer formulation, so what do I know...keep up the good work you guys.
I LOVED this! Such a great idea; yes I want to see more like this. I may have to check out Bandit...I’ve always avoided it bc sometimes it sounds kind of scary lol.
Now you're talking my lingo! Kouros and Aramis, I still have plenty left of my 1980's bottle of Kouros. I used to buy the splash bottles of Aramis cologne back in the 1970's I'd love to buy a vintage bottle, but my germaphobia gets the better of me. Even though I know alcohol kills germs in aftershave or cologne splashes, I worry about the backwash that occurs when someone uses it as an aftershave to splash on over cuts. Those 1970's and 1980's designer fragrances were niche like in their powerhouse formulations. This is for Dalia. When you buy vintage, aren't you concerned that most of the top notes are gone (especially citrus notes) and most of what's left is the base? A certain percentage of the longevity is also gone with the passage of time, although they're still stronger than the current versons. Very good video. I didn't even miss playing the Sebastian Jara drinking game. Dalia kept you from uttering your famous catch line, "if that makes sense". I think you two should do a live broadcast one night a week. Call it "Sebastian After Dark" and follow it up with a news, sports and weather report. Get this "channel" rocking already! How about some videos of "current vs vintage" formulations of classics?
You two are having just way too much fun! Maybe a little booziness before the video? Leather fragrances are actually neutral in my book. Some I like, some I don't. Depends on the fragrance and the day. Good video.
I love the ranking format guys. Please do other distinct notes such as Patchouli or Lavender. Also, have either of you tried Cuir Beluga from Guerlain? thanks
Very good video sebastian! I have a question about bandit. I love the house of Robert Piguet and I own some. I wanted to blindbuy bandit but I want to ask you if it's unisex cause it's marketed for women. Thank you very much!
Love this idea. Yes, do more of videos like this, with Sebastian ranking Dalya's top favorites. My suggestions...a patchouli video and an incense video. And you look really pretty today, Dalya.💄Sebastian just looks like "Grease." 🤣 You know, like "Hyacinth and a Mechanic." Just kidding, Sebastian.😁
I DO like the concept of switching between reviewers on their top picks. VINTAGE fragrances mean very little to most people since they are much more difficult to acquire so I would leave them out. If I can't get it, I am not interested. Please continue to keep up the amount of content and thank you.
Sebastian what are your thoughts on Ex Nihilo Cuir Celeste? It has the iris accord of Dior Homme Eau and the ozonic violets of Fahrenheit. It’s one of my favorite fresh leather fragrances for the office.
Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews My local Saks stocks Ex Nihilo and has testers on display. I just checked Luckyscent and they have samples in stock too. If you ever get your nose on Cuir Celeste please share your opinion (and Dalya’s). It’s a sweeter Fahrenheit with iris minus the petrol accord.
Dalya is a smart cutie. Thanks for the video. 🙂 PS You both are a hoot together. Funny moments. I had a thought while watching this video and your other videos together.............how many bottles of fragrance do each of you own? Is it 1200? 800? Whatever it is, is a sh.. load.
Can i have your view about aramis cologne from 1966??? If you have used it please tell me it's it long lasting as all the people say to me or is it reformulated and diluted???
Have you both ever smell Dzing (L'Artisan Parfumeur)? A trully animalic, uncured , still stretched outside left to dry in the flesh type of leather. If you like leather, niche affordable, animalic and challenging (in my opinion), Dzing is the way to go.
Is there something wrong with the aramis performance these days??? It hardly stays for half an hour and then vanishes no matter how much sprays you apply. . I'm very disappointed why Estee Lauder is destroying a great Fragrence with no longevity at all. It's totally water
@@ThePerfumeGuy 98% water and 2%perfume. Seriously. Even my 10 dollar perfume lasts longer. Don't you think it's unfair to sell watered down perfumes in that price Sebastian?? 40 dollars for a perfume which lasts hardly 45 minutes on clothes and skin even after 25 sprays. I think this should be discontinued.. Wish i could find the old vintage long lasting version of this. I love this smell so much
