    This is amazing. The rest of Philippines should take notice of this recycling method.

      Am hoping this video gets shared so others can see what is possible.

    This video was worth a re-edit, so the music did not interfere with the talking. Only working with my laptop here, no big monitor and speakers until I find a house to rent and get set up. I have a good feeling about starting all over here on Bohol and already have less stress in my life. Enjoy the video, took days to edit and get right...(Yep, I am still slow at this)

      This was a great edit. Surely they will really take the trash and actually recycle it. You get it out of the canals and the ocean, they will get it off the streets. I'm hopeful for a really good partnership. Amazing work, Richard!

    It's sometimes easy to forget how beautiful those areas can be when they're not littered with horrid, distracting trash everywhere. Very heartening to see an operation of this scale, and absolutely worth it to help out with, I imagine.

    • @TropicalOceanCleanup
      @TropicalOceanCleanup  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is the best part, they really do not need any help here. Only the rivers I can Kaboom and a few out of town group coastal cleanups.

    Repeating my comment here - this waste management operation is amazing! It puts most places in the United States to shame! I am so impressed with Bohol's mayor and his team!

    • @TropicalOceanCleanup
      @TropicalOceanCleanup  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it is the Mayor who determines cleanliness and waste management. And the Jagna Mayor is teaching other Mayors how to do the same with budget and admin.

      Thanks, nearly two weeks spent off and on editing this one down. Hope one day my speed improves, this video deserved the extra time.

      Jagna Bohol is the first with a recycle facility for zero waste here. Soon it will be first to have river trash barriers, Kabooms also.

    Nice to see this type of content about PH! I hope other places in the country follow suit. It's refreshing to see content from a foreign vlogger that doesn't rely on stereotypes such as budget, women, condos, ladyboys, and Alpha male guides.

    • @TropicalOceanCleanup
      @TropicalOceanCleanup  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But those stereotypes are what get the most views, environmental channels don't do well. TH-cam needs to make an algorithm adjustment to let more channels that are helping this planet get seen. So sadly other places may never see this video or what can be possible with an intelligent caring leader.

      @@TropicalOceanCleanup Unfortunately, nowadays our society seems to be more interested in superficial content on the internet but I'm hoping your channel grows to provide awareness of this. It will benefit the whole country if it can be implemented in every community. The Philippines may be poor but it can be rich in cleanliness if that makes any sense😆!

    Camiguin needs the same setup😂

    • @TropicalOceanCleanup
      @TropicalOceanCleanup  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      DENR spent 92 million on the plastics end of this facility on Camiguin, to make desks ect for schools. To this day 2 years later sits un-used. It's not the money it's leadership.

    we nee like this kind of facility in #puerto princesa city palawan. this very good for the environtment.

    • @TropicalOceanCleanup
      @TropicalOceanCleanup  ปีที่แล้ว

      So many city's could go this way, the money is there to be had if you know how to approach the National Government it seems. I will be learning on how this one came to be, even the equipment is different from what I have researched here. Have only visited and seen large scale operations like in Cebu, I have a video on that but way to large and expensive for all but the biggest of city's...but then Cebu is a private one.

  • @andreasherzog2222
    @andreasherzog2222 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yeah! That's the way it should be :)
    There are so many gov funding programs around that even in my 20k home town they considered hiring a specialist only for all those subsidies you can get. It's a crazy world ...

    • @TropicalOceanCleanup
      @TropicalOceanCleanup  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh they all know funding is available here for projects like this, but there is no money to be made doing so. It has to be for the environment not your pocket book. Jagna Bohol sets the example for others to follow,,,,and I will help them do so.

  • @yoexplorer4096
    @yoexplorer4096 ปีที่แล้ว

    wow kaya naman pala pag walang corruption mabuhay kayo taga jagna bohol sana maging example kayo sa ibang municipality pag tama ang binoboto mo may pag asa ang mga kabataan ...

    Much better without the music! This should be an inspiration for the rest of the Philippines.

    • @TropicalOceanCleanup

      I can only imagine where I would of been putting 3 years of hard work here on Bohol. I was stuck in the mud on Camiguin going nowhere. Jagna, Bohol is setting the example I had hoped Camiguin could of been.

    It's so funny that you talk to an essentially random person who just happens to walk the park the same moment as you do, and you decide, for the sake of the video, to ask them, and then it turns out to be Gina, the municipal administrator. Sometimes, luck's just gotta be on your side.

    I was amazed and impressed about jagna how they managed and segregate they garbage , I hope all provinces, municipal town have a segregation facilities.

    • @TropicalOceanCleanup
      @TropicalOceanCleanup  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I was amazed to see this also and to see how clean downtown Jagna is. I am still learning how it can differ so much from other towns.

    world class operation everyone should be copying what there are doing

    • @TropicalOceanCleanup
      @TropicalOceanCleanup  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes we can only hope so, showing that a 3rd class Municipality can do it with proper leadership is a start.
