    They'll implement a novel, but underwhelming system, then ignore it for nine years. So let's just hope whatever CIG decide to do, it's not a complete mess.

      Then they’ll have someone like Yogi tell you that everyone loves it.

    That sounds all so good. I really hope it will come like that into the game.

    I think the more fleshed out engineering and crafting are, the more our ships will feel like OUR ships.

    I’m just a dreamer…. But I want this game to take us back to the days of dying meaning death. Game start over. Now I don’t want to lose everything here, but I like that the consequence of being on the patience level of a millennial or whatever the new one is…. Is punished. The idea will be novel to the young babies who don’t understand it’s not about being in a fighter and how fast you can be back into a fighter.

    I think for a mobile engineering screen it should be an item the player holds and not part of the Mobi. With the mobi the player stops an opens an entire menu with multiple apps that take up the entire screen. Where as, if it were say a tablet held in one hand the player could see any status changes while still walking or preforming actions. Then the interaction button could be used to focus on the screen to open doors or re-rout power. It would look similar to the map from minecraft until you focused on it.

      That a great idea... but we all know that iPad would get glitches out somehow

      @@nerd4770 Well that would be both typical for star citizen, and real iPads.

    I like the idea of engineering even though I usually fly solo. It will be a challenge but it’s adding the potential of improving gameplay - so long as it’s not overdone to the point when it becomes a regular mini game. I understand it being a result of combat, but I’m hoping that for normal flight it will be pretty rare, especially if you can do routine and regular checkups in a hangar. And there needs to be a built in place for spare fuses if they are likely to need replacing, not just a container shoved in a corner somewhere. Large components ok, but not fuses. Interesting times ahead!

      I definitely agree. As long as you keep your components above let’s say 80% with ship repair in hangar engineering issues should be very rare unless you take damage or something

    Once the novelty has worn off... it will be yet another timesink folks... a bit like the alarm and hangar animations... it will get old real quick me thinks..

      It’s crazy how out of touch CIG is

    • @GusMix79
      @GusMix79 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Don’t get me wrong but games in general are times sinks aren’t they?
      I mean that’s why I prefer a simulation over an arcade space ship game.
      I love how it takes time to do stuff and not everything is just a click or does it by itself.
      I mean there is still Starfield out there for people who hate to waste time traveling. Just one loading screen and you’re where ever you want to be. Let’s add auto unload and auto redeem auto ship fix and auto refuel. Ah why the hustle let’s just watch a video how other people do it. 😁
      ✅ Disclaimer this post is not intended to offend anyone. It hopefully just brings a smile to your face.

      @@GusMix79 problem with SC though is the simulation SHOULD be the flight model.

    I was excited for Star Citizen, I love the org I'm in, I was excited learning about the game, and lore from the people who came in before me. That said it is really sad to see how CIG has damn near intentionally destroyed a great idea of a game with huge backer support. The decisions made by CIG have become insulting and I have spent less than 300$ in game, I know people who have spent nearly 10k (for this absolutley BROKEN pos of a game.
    HD2 learned when your players get pissed and leave that buffing weapons and making a game fun (again) can save a game. I hope Star Citizen players can put the same pressure on CIG that HD2 players put on Sony.
    Space cows and a insult of a mech 😅? These people are nickel and diming us like we as players can't see what is out their, and what good looking and grand scale designs, with interesting world with living environments look and feel like, Star Citizen is a bare waiste land with some empty cities that take forever to get to a few repetitive shops and insulting NPC that clearly dont want to be their anymore than I do anymore. This game as a sandbox doesn't work, isnt fun and is contantaly bugging missions to cause fails and loss of rep. it's more like letting 20 toddlers in a construction site rather than a sandbox with toys. I have fallen through the ground so much in Star Star citizen my eyes see the ground on a planet as paper thin and can't trust it.
    Buy a tractor tool mech to move cargo, cargo elevators dont work, no cargo no pirates, no economy, no reason to play. Nothing is permanent, nothing matters, everything changes, you cant even train to be competitive for the game when even the mechanics are up for change constantly.
    I love playing alpha testers, this gsme is a (I HATE TO SAY IT) an insult and it really is feeling like a scam beyond my bennifit of the doubt.

    It's not about what I would like to see in the game. At this point it's about when I would like to see it. 5 years ago.

    that a good thing if it take longer.. and if one of the gunner is to lazy to get off there asss and fix the commpoint.. they can get off and EVA back to port lol Also keep in mind in a big fight there is a high % one or more guns on you're ship will get takin out.. so there will be time to fix stuff. As it will be easyer to take out the guns but harder to take down the ship.

    • @Fantastiie
      @Fantastiie 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      yes engeneering will be great for multiecrew ships i mean a gunner will sit around and wait until battle happend so theres alot more to do for them, and not just wait until next enemy apears

    • @BGIANAKy
      @BGIANAKy 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It’s a bait and switch. Which is what? A scam.
      I’ve been a backer since 2013. The last year is a spit in the face of all of the backers that voted them to 750 mil. You have to be stupid not to see it and this is coming from someone that white knighted CIG for over a decade.

      Selling non flyable jpegs while telling backers “you’ll be able to fly this” and not releasing it for years is a SCAM
