3:11 - 3:38 is one of the best parts of any Listz piece I've heard. The sound is so full it's insane.

It's the 'La Folia' theme, one of the oldest themes in Western music, but I agree with you, although being used by many composers of baroque, classical and romantic era, I think Liszt did the best version of this theme.

Liszt could probably play this with just nine fingers. He had such good dexterity he once cut his pointer finger right before a performed and performed anyway and the audience didn't notice. He also once performed with a lit cigarette between his fingers.

I just loveeeee 4:10 to 5:00. In my opinion, it’s the best part of the whole entire piece. Of course all of you have your opinions, so some would agree, others won’t!! :)

Those 3 octave chords are insane. Good job playing them, they seem like a nightmare. Also, managing the low ends without it getting too muddy is difficult. Once again, excellent work.

Maestro truly has the best interpretation for this Rhapsody Espagnole, especially when performing on a Grand.
