Wow thanks so much for including my comment!! I was just here at work listening to this vid and I heard my name and I was like wait a minute…that’s ME!!!! 😂😂😂 seriously so excited for everything mentioned here. Rebirth blew my mind so I have such high expectations for the next game, and I normally keep my expectations neutral bc id rather be happily surprised than disappointed, but it’s too late. Hopes are already too high lol I hope these next few years go by quick but it’s going to be so fun to continue to have these conversations in the meantime and speculate on re-part 3!!!

Create content on what you want, and double down on the stuff you see perform well. I'm guessing ffviir content probably should be a bit less popular soon, if not already.
I'm pretty sure it will be revealed that the beagle world is also not an original. I'm not sure if the original ffvii is an original world either, but I guess at this point it wouldn't really matter. Except for the rapture in the sky signifying a world that is ending. Maybe the reunion of worlds must happen for the world to heal itself. But not in the way sephiroth wants.

Yeah, I really hope I make it and am still in playing form for pt 3. I'm not that old or anything (was in university when OG released), but I wound up with rare health stuff and thanks to a random and long stable stretch, I'm still here a decade after I was no longer supposed to be. I'm just all too aware that that can change at any time and I could be gone in days, whenever, without big warning. Seen it happen to so many others of any age with it.
The re-trilogy ride has been a great one so far though, and has given me so much to mull over in my brain on rough patches so that's great.
I hope you're here for it, too. I'm glad you're still here 10 years past expectations!
Kingdom Hearts 1 was the one with the infamous underwater combat and gameplay. Kingdom Hearts 2 just did a musical adaptation of the Little Mermaid story. Then again, Kingdom Hearts 3 did undersea segments for Pirates of the Caribbean.

I think we're probably going to either lose some OG content or have it employed in ways we're not expecting.
I can't imagine having full access to the world map via airship, a scale version of the submarine area, and all previous locations available. On top of all the new dungeons and story beats. That would constitute the largest world ever made that didn't rely on procedural generation. Unless!
Unless they planned for this and Rebirth already has the framework in place to allow disk/file swapping for access to the previous areas.
I want to see Cloud would get two new samurai swords between Murasame and Yoshiyuki at Wutai village after two side quests.

I want a humanoid/angel Jenova fight but unlike Sephiroth she has both wings, even if it’s a combat simulator(if it doesn’t fit in the story).
and maybe Sephiroth has some sort of redemption arc ?
Maybe Chadley spills the beans on Deepground so you have to defeat them so Omega doesn’t get summoned.

I do wonder about the switching of characters in battles thing, like if it won't look weird and out of place. I feel it worked for FFX cause the other characters are not seen on the screen but in Rebirth we can plainly see the characters in the background even hear them and so wouldn't switching them during battle look sort of weird, like are we gonna be going "tag you are it" I just don't know. I would love to see it happen though but hopefully it won't look weird. If not it would be cool to have the background characters use their materias to help fight in battle. I do like the KOTR protorelic idea so I guess each knight will be able to talk then lol.
I wanna see them do more with the swimming stuff like have the characters be able to dive so we can find chests and materia, maybe collect a certain item so we can get a special materia or armor. I miss being able to open cupboards and locker doors to find stuff. I honestly wanna see them do something with the Muscle Colosseum sure it's already challenging but I truly wanted to see the old spinning slot thing like in the og where our independent materia or magic and other stuff, gets cut off base on where the slot stops. Also is it me or is "confuse" missing in the game. Can they do something more with the Shinra Mansion (or is it too late), I wanted to see the spiral stair case in the upper floor and was hoping once we got to Niblehiem that they would remove that darn piece of debris blocking the stairs.
I so can't wait to see what they do with all the big stuff like the Highwind, the Submarine, the Weapons, will chocobo breeding still be a thing. When it comes to the Highwind I hope we get to fly it and land it wherever we want and not just pick a spot and land. They could do a thing where while we are flying and seeing everything, if we wanna see our party members like in FF8 we press a button to see what's going on in the ship. I think in the og we were only able to see in the ship after a story plays out. I wonder how the underwater gameplay mechanics is gonna be like especially when we have to fight Emerald weapon. Hope there are foot prints in the snow when it comes to the snow part of the game.
OG allowed you to view the interior of the Highwind whenever you wanted. If you were in the air, you just hit the 'menu' button (default: 'Triangle' button) . You could save, rest, or switch out party members. No one really ever had anything new to say, though. I think you could also check on the status of your chocobo, but I can't remember for sure. I've never done the chocobo breeding.

I was hoping we could see Deneh at Cosmo Canyon or at least, have her reappear towards the end of the game so she can emerge out of hiding.
Also wondering if both scenarios of the train either crashing into North Corel or preventing the town's destruction will both be animated too.
Could the last two Acts of Loveless be performed in Part 3?
Assuming that Zack is back in the Beagle Timeline, I'd like to see him return to Gongaga and give his parents and Cissnei some closure. Maybe we'll find out her real name finally too!
Being that Part 3 will still be huge, I'd still like to see DLC so I'd be happy for 2. One fir a Vincent backstory and Cid to have an explorable Rocket Town region. They've gotten most of the resources out of the way so give us a tease of both their combat mechanics too.
Also would like to see Aerith Interludes where like The Maiden Who Travels the Planet story can help put people's minds at ease, like Biggs, Wedge and Jessie (and especially Dyne).
I think they might go in a different direction for the Large Materia Quest (or whatever they called them in Rebirth). The Corel reactor didn't have the same geography and construction as the OG so it would be harder to pull off.
@@drewtheunspoken3988 Magna Materia now, yeah? You never know though, that train track is still quite lengthy. Just have to wait an' see...
I'm really hoping they bring back all the overpowered weapons from OG, especially Barret's melee weapons. Taking them away in Rebirth was a major downside.
P.S I really hope Nala is okay. I pray she gets better
I hope that part 3 ends up releasing before the ps6 releases. I'd rather not buy another system for each game in the trilogy

I think SomnusShinra was alluding to the Tifa/Cloud under the Highwind complete scene. Lol.
No more towers. Give us chocobos in regions without lame minigames to acquire them, - just find a ranch. Give us some Red Dead open world elements. I want a mix of checklisty and hidden missions - reward me for exploring the edges. Lose the sub minigame.
Nala, be a good girl and pull through. Also if you want to reveal you have superpowers and can talk this whole time, you might get a treat. Just sayin.
