We lived in Wickrath from about 1963 to 1967, block 8 flat 7 Handelstrasse, I loved it there , nice hot summers walking round park near the castle and the outdoor pool. We used to get a free day in local cinema every year and the amazing ice cream shop near the crossroads in the village. The chippy van used to come every Friday- what a treat
