At least that's what you do with a pilot g2
I don't know why, but watching someone with beautiful writing/calligraphy skills just makes me sigh with relief. (my mom raised me to write in cursive and finding out its more or less a dying skill might be why lol)

I have several glass pens. I love them. I especially love them for producing pen and ink line drawings. @6:57 My glass pens work fairly well with fountain pen ink, or with the Iron Gall ink I made myself. The do no work so well with the Speedball India ink. The India ink works well with my metal nibs.
In all honesty the glass pens he's using are pieces of shit, very poorly made/shit quality. I have 150 glass pens and I'm drop dead serious when I say that out of those 150, only one is a piece of shit like the pens he used in the video; the other 149 glass pens I have write beautifully/perfectly. The one that's a pirce piece of shit was bought off Amazon for $13, the other 149 were custom made by someone that specializes in making calligraphy pens/glass pens. So if you want a glass pen, go ahead and buy some, don't change your mind because someone made a TH-cam video using horribly made pens LOL.
I love my glass pen .the ink flows quite well and lasts longer than pointed dip pen . Bought them on Amazon. The tip does become dull over time either evenly or on one side, a light hand should help . The letter forms stand out with a glass pen , and some inks work better than others , I love using the sumi ink with it and give it a thorough clean after use, the paper you use depends on the ink you are working with.
I got one as a present several years ago - I didn't have a lot of difficulty with it, but I was treating it like a technical pen (Rapidograph, Leroy, etc). But I can see where approaching it from a regular quill or dip nib hold would cause problems. As always a great video, thanks for sharing your skill.

I plan on watching as many of your tutorials as possible. I've always tried to learn different styles of writing.. using books. The internet has opened up a whole new way to learn. Whilst I watched your writing skills, I kept clenching and curling my fingers - as if I want to try them out myself, because those “curlings” turned me on most of the time. Plus, the background music is a perfect accommodation for the video.

Well it's not that easy to break it! If press a lot, LIKE A LOT, might break, but it can take some pressure. More likely to break if you drop it or something like that.
We're supplementing by teaching our children cursive at home. Its ridiculous that it will be a mostly lost art here soon if more parents don't also teach their children.
i have a stunning glass pen that I watched being made in Murano. the ink flow is fantastic when used with something like Cross ink, but the best bit is the Song. glass pens sing as they move.... the sound a good pen makes is beautiful, like a glass harmonica or a crystal being pinged. if you want a wonderful experience it is worth spending on these, and try before you buy. find the pen that likes you.

Using a glass pen, you have to constantly turn the pen; each of those grooves is a feed, and each one will run dry.
No you do not, surface tension makes to so all feed without needing to turn
