Move the power steering over the front of the strut like 50mm. If ya doing all this work. Get a top half plenum custom made up!! Way neater instead off that junk cooler pipe
We end up moving the power steering reservoir. Without a doubt the FFP would be the best option but this car isn’t a priority at this stage. The focus is on the VL but we wanted to freshen up the skyline so we used the opportunity to do so without going crazy. Appreciate the input dude 👌🏼
@@bioshock425 I’d like the Vl to the an OEM+ style build. Will look stock standard but with a bit of a twist. The drag strip has just been built in Adelaide & roll racing is a monthly thing so I’d like to be able to push the limits on track while having a nice n tidy “street car”. Hopefully making 300plus kw with a 2 speed glide. Now the r31 is getting closer to being back on the road, the Vl will start getting things cross off the list, as it sits its a non rolling shell with interior so far amount of work ahead 👌🏼
The skylines rear ends are 28 Spline axles, much stronger the 25s my VL had 25s & they were always on the breaking point. If you’ve got 4:11s “from a skyline” they’re more then likely out of a pintara which were 4:11s & 25 spline.
@@LovedayMotorsports yeah easy might just end up running a eb 2 diff or later for the comfort of the axles especially when your boost spikes to 22 on stock 3.9 sohc 💀
