This is such an underrated game. I loved the concept with taking an assassin and mixing it with a ruffian. Making a gang, everything about Jacob just fits. I especially how the carriage ride that was amazing. The story was way better than unity, the parkour in syndicate wasn’t bad it was clean but the parkour in unity was definitely better. I love Syndicate and Jacob is so underrated! The gangs mixed with the assassins is why this game is so special! But for me that's where the criticism comes in. Evie. She isn't a gangster like Jacob is. But jacob is also an assassin, and he's good at it as well, with all the detective stuff he does, and the amount of templar identities he uncovers, plots he stops, and templars themselves he removes. But evie is just an assassin, and she isn't even good at it. She takes down one target in London. Just one. And she had to try twice as she failed the first time. She also never took responsibility for her own mistakes, such as losing the shroud key twice, allowing part of Croydon to get exploded, or failing to defeat any templars what so ever! Point is, she didn't suit this game, and was a vastly hypocritical character. I mean even the last level where evie complains about the dress. Sorry but Aveline was an amazing assassin who used society's inequalities to actually exploit the oppressors! She was smart and never complained about these things, instead she used them. To me, evie holds syndicate back.

Originally, Jacob was indeed the only playable protagonist in the game, and evie didn't even exist as she is today. The game looked much darker and Jacob had the same outfit as George. This bit is important context. A woman called Kim belair and her friends got involved in the games development, fairly late, and they are somewhat famous for changing games to be more "inclusive" but that really just translates to more female and less white. Jacob was actually always supposed to be bisexual, and the games lead writer is in fact a gay man himself. The deep hypocrisy of Kim belair is that she doesn't care about that being inclusive, because she only values inclusion for people like her. And so she essentially blackmailed the syndicate team into creating evie as a playable twin protagonist. During an interview she can be heard complaining that her fellow devs told her Jacob is the main character, and she responded by saying she could manipulate people into thinking evie was the protagonist, by misrepresenting the twins online. You see, Kim belair was originally hired because she is a marketing expert, and so she knows how to manipulate what people think of a product. You can find this interview on a AC sisterhood TH-cam video, titled after the woman who I am referring to here. Anyway, the games development ended up going through hell, and the team had to work backwards and cut a lot out, in order to add evie on time for launch. Kim belair went on to be the founder of the company called "sweet baby inc" who are currently in a lot of controversial conversation for similar reasons as we are discussing now. Kim belair since said "if they (they meaning the development team she is working with) don't see the value in what I want for a game, then I'll scare them with what might happen if they don't do as I ask." She actually said that. You can find her saying this in a variety of articles and videos about her. Just look her up and see for yourself, however take note, many journalists are her allies and lie for her. Jacob is the character shown in every single bit of leaked gameplay, screenshots, videos, development notes, artworks showing story moments are almost always shown with Jacob, and Jacob has 3 times as many concept arts that are all dated sometimes years older than the artworks for evie. Jacob also has artworks of the exact character shown in thr AC victory leaks, and this character is described as "Jacob frye." We can see on a website (if I use its name the comment will he removed for some reason) that is used for game devs to share their work together, and network, and this website has a variety of AC victory stuff. From menus screens to gameplay render screenshots, and even a display of the room people would sit in, when the team would reveal the game. It all shows Jacob frye as the protagonist, both in description, and visibly the "victory protagonist" has Jacob's face, exactly the same as it is in syndicate. The only reason the victory outfit isn't used for Jacob now, is because the art team wanted something that reflects Jacob's gang underworld story better, for his main look. Hence the victory outfit was given to George instead. If your interested, you can also find some cool black flag development stuff on that website as well. Originally, Pearl wasn't a character in syndicate/victory. Roth was, but he had a very different look and narrative role. The character that eventually got split to create Roth as he is now, and pearl, was Jacob's mentor. An older lady with grey hair, a black and red version of Lydia's outfit, and a silver mask to hide a badly injured face. She was the late games plot twist main villain. And the idea behind her character was later recycled into watch dogs legion's Sabine. Legion launched on the first big anniversary for Syndicate, and so many of it's ideas were actually restorations of cut syndicate narrative ideas. Evie eventually replaced thus mysterious mentor/villain to Jacob, but the narrative role of this mentor character was given to Roth and pearl, while evie would be instead, a good guy in the story. You can even spot the necklace thus mysterious mentor character had, on both Lydia, and evie but only on the box art, as evie didn't have it in the actual game. I hope you see for yourself, as I have put a lot of effort into trying to share this, but it isn't easy, as journalists rarely talk about it honestly, and those who support belair, tell lies about reduced female characters, despite the reality being opposite. Note also that the "AC victory project" mod, is a mod to restore that original version of the game. The mod team have seen all the files in game, and researched the games development extensively. @@Chrisgaming_1 You may be interested to know that Arno was supposed to have a story like ezio, but be styled more like altier with the single hidden blade, and Paris was made to look similar to AC1 with the blues and greys. Meanwhile, Jacob was supposed to have a story similar to Altier, as Jacob was very reckless and learned to appreciate the creed. Jacob's outfits were more based on Ezio, and London was made to mirror the dark greens and blues of AC2's Venice, but also the warm orange and brown colours of Florance. Arno and Jacob were also created by the same people who created altier and ezio. Jacob even has the same lead writers as Ezio. Note evie wasn't planned as a protagonist, originally there was only Jacob in AC Victory/Syndicate, and evie is created by different people and written by different people much of the time as well.
Fun fact. In the original game, assassins only dressed as they did, to blend with their targets. Templars. This is based on real history as well. So Jacob's main outfit, the outdoorsman outfit, includes dark leather and a smarter style, to blend in with the tempalrs of that games setting. Note evie wasn't planned as a protagonist, originally there was only Jacob in AC Victory/Syndicate, and evie is created by different people and written by different people much of the time as well.
master assasin is the true brit spirit 🔥
He forgot to add Ezio’s outfit
Baron Jordanes is my best with that metals shoulder plate, he justs looks so cool
5. Edward outfit
4. Master assassin
3. Jordane's finery
2. Dr. Daniels
1. Gunslinger coat.
THATS MY NAME
You missed Ezio's outfit, still nice video
I just realized- Jacob is a BIG guy 😮
I realy like the Dracula outfit. Full leather coat.
Assasins christmas
I realy wanted an option to change tophat to the hat from the beginning. Peaky blinders type drip
Jacob looks just like a Templar sometimes
Fun fact. In the original game, assassins only dressed as they did, to blend with their targets. Templars. This is based on real history as well. So Jacob's main outfit, the outdoorsman outfit, includes dark leather and a smarter style, to blend in with the tempalrs of that games setting. Jacob was also created and written by the game people who made altier and ezio.
number 7 is the goat
Syndicate was my GAME!!
The drip in Syndicate will always be unmatched especially Evie's outfits🔥
Also Jacob's walk is🫦
@@alyaasultan2172 didn't like evie's outfits as they don't look historical, they don't suit victorian london at all. Evie looks like she is a modern person pretending to be victorian, and dressing more medieval without realising. Jacob on the other hand is dressed both suited to victorian london, and he has more classic assassin design elements such as the red belt fabric, and the pointed hood.
@chrismoore5333 are you the same person from the train comment? I fear you might be haunting this yt short😔
Also to each their own, I loved Evie's drip more she was 🗿 everyone in the area fr🧎♀️
@@alyaasultan2172 now try again in English. Evie doesn't look victorian, and she doesn't have the pointed hood or red traditional belt that most assassins and Jacob all have. She looks ok at best.
@@chrismoore5333 Get snuffed.
The outfits look good in the inventory but when you put it on it looks like old dead animal skin. Every single one of them
I'm glad he got Ed's outfit at least. I'm not fond of the Master Assassin outfit. :(
I forgot about Batman Assassins Creed
Baron Jordaes outfit is the best
Forgot Ezio's outfit... It's available in game
Huntsman looks way too Tommy Shelby
I think that outfit is a clear reference to sherlock holmes
Jacob is very much a gangster and an assassin, similar to how Edward is both assassin and pirate. So Jacob is always supposed to be a little peaky blinder. I mean the game is called "Syndicate." Not that Jacob's snooty sister fits in, because she doesn't.
Anybody else hate the fact you can’t remove the hate from the outfits lol
Doesn't bother me honestly.
But you can glitch it if it bothers you, so you can just use the good. Note you won't be able to crouch if you do this, or the hat will return. Anyway, go on a boat at the edge of the map, and go into stealth mode with the hood up. Then hold aim with any equipment while taking cover by a corner. Hold it until you pass through the animus wall, and get returned to the map. You will spawn again stood up as normal but with the hood up instead of the hat.
11. Ezio
number 7 is outfit of his dad
Where is the og white suit man. ? I use that all the rhe time
No Conor outfit I just bought this game for nothing god damn.
OUTDOOR MAN
You forgot the Ezio outfit
Whats this greenie? Assassin Christmas???
I’ve always wonder, where is the hood when he pull it down. Did he tucked it under the collar of the outer jacket ?
bro skipped ezio's one
What about Ezio and Altair's robes?
You forgot Ezio's outfit
😮😮
Not very inconspicuous 💀
These outfits are far more stealthy than evie's or connor's for example.
Exactly. And it's something the Jacob simp (Chris) doesn't understand or tries very hard not to 🤡
The account with the valhalla evior profile picture, has been stalking my account and saying nasty lies about me, or just being rude to me, for just about 3 years now? Maybe slightly over 3 years. Fair warning.
Hate that goofy ah hat
Ezio"?"
Everyone talking about how they like jacob didn't wear hoodie all the time and its realistic, cuz people in the entire city doesn't wear like that and if jacob wear like and assassin's enemies will easily notice right?, yah ..... You are all an idiots who doesn't have syndicate or didn't pay attention when playing the game, because in the game it doesn't matter if jacob wear like assassin's or a clown cuz almost everyone in the city knows who's Frye's twins are. Even the enemies lmao
You forgot Eizo outfit it's the best
In my honest opinion syndicate outfits wheter Evie or Jacob are pretty miedocre. with mods you can fix jacob buy evie still keeps on taking off signifying symbol of the assassins the hood. Jacobs hat makes the outfits even worse than havign no hood on.
with the mod "hood on premanently" or something like that jacob no longer has the hat, both free roam and cutscenes he looks like a proper assassin with the hood on, from what i know the modders are working on evie now sos he always has the hood on aswell
Train should kill Jacob at the end 😂
That's mean to poor old Jacob. 😂 I'd rather it got jack or evie, so I can play as the real assassins of the game, Jacob and Lydia.
@@chrismoore5333 None of us like the dickhead, so you pushing him around is doing him and you no favours.
Excuse you that's the father of my children😔💔
What an odd man you are😂
@@alyaasultan2172 are you OK? Or are you stalking me because I called out your misandry last time we spoke?
@chrismoore5333 hello? Are we hallucinating? I'm pretty sure I replied to the comment above and it's kinda creepy how you replied instead. Are you a troll? misandry? I'm very confused
Rage bait 3.5/10

No unfortunately
Finde 5 geil
Is there a roadman outfit?? The first of the roadmen in fact.
You forgot about Ezio
Is there a way to remove the top?
Why do they only have 1 hidden blade in Syndicate?
Jacob actually has two hidden blades, but only one gauntlet. Look closely in combat while using the knuckles. Jacob uses a second hidden blade at times. Also assassinate enemies at the edge of a train carriage, and Jacob will do a unique animation where he uses two blade. Also the unique kill option for the lord cardigan target, Jacob uses two blades.
You miss ezio
Baron Jordane's finery is just beauty.🤌
