You should try laying a terry cloth towel over your lap. Jewelers do that when they’re setting stones. You wanna talk about things that bounce when they hit the floor? Try gemstones. They ricochet like a bullet, when they do

I’ve seen people take the thing that you used to drill the four holes on each side and use it for the Seiter other people have used other things also but I see that that one is pretty much the easiest
When I saw your drill bit, I was wondering how you were going to add the wires. At first I was saying to myself that bit is too big for 8 plug individual plug wires. do you know what gauge that wire was?
I finally finished this kit. It didn't turn out as I wanted but to my surprise, it looks damn good. Anyway, I put this model in my display case which is a beautiful OAKLEY sunglasses retail store display case that has built in lights . Its awesome, but I Anyway, I just realized my hood won't fit on because of the air cleaners. Did anyone else have this problem ?
@@modelcarvideos5829 LOL ofcourse. It may fit with just the carbs but I super glued the stacks on. I tried ranking them but the carbs are gonna come off so I am displaying the car with the hood off. I did a nice job in the engine compartment so its not that big of a deal.
Hey Matthew, I hope all is well with you and yours. I was wondering why you use choose to not include a wire for the coil in your distributors? This is not a criticism at all, I'm just curious. Thanks, Steve
Steve I generally use GM style distributors with the coil built in. Lol Honestly I don't have a good reason why I don't. Maybe the next one will have it! Take care
How about the size , you know, AWG size ??? Of the wire, I've been all over this interweb and nobody will tell you what size, i got awg30 and its too big , i would appreciate your help, thank you
32 gauge is probably closer to what you want for 1:25 scale. When you buy wire, the "gauge" of the wire is the wire itself and does not include the sheathing. So for 1:24 scale 30 gauge is probably correct, but for 1:25 scale 32 gauge is probably closer to what you are looking for.
@@modelcarvideos5829 oh man, that's awesome... I just built a '70 Chevelle kit, and the motor was garbage... looking for better options. Thanks for the reply!
Man I appreciate you taking your time showing how to wire an engine its still a weak spot in my model building the engine turned out great.
Yeah buddy! I always like to be creative with my engine build. You got your shit down. I like the flat black covers too.......
Thanks Scott!
I am really enjoying this series!
Amazing how simple it is to make plug wires

Great idea!
Impressively detailed engine!
Great video. Working on my first engine detail right now ('71 Thunderbird) and learned a lot from this. Thanks!
👍🏻👍🏻
Very neat! Thanks again for the tips!!
Hemi V8's back in the mid 50's did 1hp to 1cu.in. and were very powerful
I use 20 test line for my wires,
Excellent building bro all the details look so good man, that engine killed the game 🎮🎯
Thanks eddieblcc!!👍🏻👍🏻
The correct firing order would be 1-2-17!

Last attempt, not such a great go, fortunately the Ram Air on top of the carb hid it
Great info! What is the diameter of the plug wires?
I'll have to check for you. It's 32awg but not sure of the Dia.

32awg
do you have a link for where you get your wire? i tried thisd once but the woven wire comes apart so much it's frustrating

Thanks for the tutorial. Do you ever run fuel lines? If you do, what do you use for a fuel pump?
I generally don't run fuel lines.
Have you ever heard of using solder for sparkplug wires?, it would give a realistic sag to the wire- do you have an opinion on this?
I've heard but never tried it.
The firing order isn't right. lmao. Joking great job.
Lol

Matthew what gauge wire did you use for the spark plug wires?
George, I'm not sure of the gauge of the wire. I get it off of ebay.

I think these were 32awg but a little smaller is probably more in scale to 1/25

what size bit did you use?
Im not sure of the size. I'll check into it.
@@modelcarvideos5829 What was the size of the drill bit. I was wonder the same thing as Anthony
I don't recall but I'll check.
Do you airbrush the engine and parts or use a brush?
It just depends. Mostly I spray with spray cans.
Is this engine 3D printed?
Also- love the videos!
No it comes with the 67 Chevelle kit.
